I've never played any of the recent Fallout games. Should I get Fallout 3 or New Vegas?
Skip 3 and stick to New Vegas.
Is Alone in the Dark even worth buying?
Don't even think about it, it's absolute trash. It has nice ideas but really horrible execution.
HOLY SHIT THEY HAVE SHADOW MAN! :O
I havent played that game in >10 years.
I've never played any of the recent Fallout games. Should I get Fallout 3 or New Vegas?
Play 3 first then New Vegas. Not in the reverse order.

Both are really great games but New Vegas is more polished and has a superior storyline, it's also more in the vein of the older Fallout games. Nevertheless Fallout 3 offers a huge gameworld with tons of exploration.

Are they connceted somehow? Like story wise?
Not that much, there are minor references but it's not essential to play 3 before Vegas. Although it's really nice if you played Fallout 1 and 2 before New Vegas. There are a tons of references and cool camoes, it just makes it feel more like Fallout.

I did come far into Fallout 3 on my Xbox, but then my Xbox crashed and I lost my save and I have never come around to playing it again.
So does gifting people games that are not available in their country still work?
why is DOOM not on sale ( all Doom Games ) it's perfect time for a game(s) like that.
do it, they'll pay you a 2 and half dollars for buying it for free :D
It's so bad they're paying you to take it!
(I have no idea if this game is actually bad or not.)
Pretty cool sale.
Holy shit, they released the 7th Guest on Steam? I still have the discs for that, I remember playing that when I was young.
I recommend They Bleed Pixels if you're prepared to get really pissed off. It's difficult as fuck but fun as hell.
Got Typing of the Dead: Overkill using some cash I had left in my Steam Wallet.
Fuck me, this game is fun.
I'd recommend "I Have no mouth and I must scream".
Shit's scary as fuck and fucked up as well, it's not even funny anymore.
But seriously entertaining.
I highly recommend F.E.A.R, Condemned: Criminal Origins, and Atom Zombie Smasher. All 3 are rather fun.
I picked up the Bioshock pack and New Vegas because I've been meaning to get those, any other really good games on sale?
got my eyes on spelunky and Don't Starve.
It's a shame the borderlands2 season pass didn't go on sale like this summer tho. :(
Did you try restarting steam?
6 or 7 times
lol Ninja blade, I have that on GMG.
It's a fucking awful port. I feel bad for anyone who buys it. Luckily I got it for free.
support ticket fixed it
here's what to do if anybody has the same problem:
Exit Steam.
Please open Internet Explorer, Safari or Firefox and type steam://flushconfig then press Enter. (If asked to allow this website to open a program, please click 'Allow' or 'OK')
When prompted by Steam to reset your configuration, please click 'OK' to confirm.
Once done, login to Steam and re-test the issue.
If you have multiple installation folders for games doing this process will remove them. You will need to add the folders again in Steam so that your games will appear as installed.
In order to add the folders please do the following:
1. Open Steam
2. Click Steam > Settings (Preferences on Mac)
3. Navigate to the 'Downloads' tab
4. Click the 'Steam Library Folders' button
5. Click on 'Add Library Folder' and add the directory that contains your games
6. Click 'OK'
7. Restart Steam
Will STEAM still be having the winter sale in December?
If you buy deadly premonition make sure you download DPFix, from the man who brought you dsfix to play in resolutions higher than 720p.
