Most of the companies are American, they make American soldiers to cater to the American audience. Suck it up if you hate having Americans so much, there are plenty of games that level the playing field between sides.

Just as an idea that would be easier to sell to the masses, throughout WW2 the more traditional German leadership actually was at odds with the more fanatical elements of the SS. Surely if they played on this unease, they could have some success.

I think it would be pretty cool to play as a German born defector or spy.
