Time travel backwards is impossible because of radiation feedback. Any other device of disproving it is unnecessary.
That is one idea - which mustn't be valid.
You change something by just appearing in another time, it works by universes.
No that's more of a back to the future thing and we have yet to prove other universes exist. Time Travel works on a 4Th dimension which would mean we would never be able to see time travelers however they could see us.

Did you actually listen to what he said or did you just pull that out of your ass.
Tis good to see people like aVoN trying to clean up all the wild speculation.
:golfclap:
Can I go back in time and be Jesus yet?
If not, wake me up when I can. I want to play Pokemon with Pontious Pilot.
Also, what's that theory called where every time you make a decision you are split into 2 separate parallel universes; one for each decision?
I go with what Einstein said.
There are still "What If".
What if the people from the future realized what impact it would have and restricted the trips
What if they have invented some kind of cloaking device
What if they have the possibility but don´t do it for the reasons of historic preservation
what if...
Murphy's law.
If we were to assume that time traveling in the future will be possible, and we are to assume that if it is found out how to travel in time the idea and concept of how it is possible will be presented to mankind, it is safe to assume time traveling would happen more than once. No matter if it's illegal as fuck to go back and change things, no matter if you send a guy to fix everything someone fucked up, someone IS going to find a way to travel back in time and fuck something up.
From the very moment we find out it is possible to travel in time, we will henceforth have all eternity on our hands to fuck up everything.
In an infinity amount of years, and infinite amount of people will have the opportunity to travel back in time.
An infinite amount of people will have the chance to fuck everything up.
Let's not go by the same ideas that makes us agnostics instead of atheists.
If there is absolutely no proof of time travelers, if there is absolutely no known sighting of time travelers, if there is no part of human history that can in no way be explained in a logical way without assuming it was caused by a time traveler... why should we believe that traveling back in time will ever be possible?
If time travel was possible, we would know.
I don't think we'll ever find out if time traveling is possible or not, for the same reason we will never find real proof that god does not exist.
There is no way to disprove something we can't prove exists. It's just a very logical conclusion that leads me to believe that time traveling is and will remain no more than fiction.

So what if Time Travelers are constantly changing stuff and since we are not separate from their changes we never notice?

let me remind you that this experiment was just about sending information a nanosecond back in time
that's information, not particles

The fact that information can be sent is still a major breakthrough. If at some point in the future we develop this technology further alongside computer science we could receive information on scientific breakthroughs from the future. Although this is highly speculative it is still an interesting concept to think about.
Did you actually listen to what he said or did you just pull that out of your ass.
What he wrote was a quote of Hawking as far as I remember. On the event horizon of "time machine", his idea was that light entering it goes into an infinite time-circle, amplifying itself to an infinite power. Everyone trying to pass the horizon will then be vaporized instantly.
Still this is an idea which mustn't be true.

Was written in the OP: Multiverse Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics.
Heh, a computer simulation. That's funny.
Time doesn't move backwards. The photon's state can be changed at any place in time.
which means information could be passed from the future to the past
This is interesting... What practical applications would this potentially have?
Computers that can answer the question before it's asked.
