The scary part is actually that a quarter of children born were to mothers born outside of the UK. Would then be interesting to see how it's further seperated into mothers of non and of european descent. But still.
Why is that scary?
Our little island is getting a bit cramped.
I'm just waiting for "Lets kick them out back to their own country"
Well the UK is a country, not an international hotel for immigrants, it's getting tiring how every tom, dick and harry is allowed through the door and given free benefits, I have quite a few Polish and Indian friends so I've got nothing against immigrants in general but what are we doing to do when the UK gets overcrowded to the point that there's nowhere to live? People born in the UK should get priority, their parents and their parents after worked for their child to have a good life in the UK, the UK needs to stop letting so many people into the country so freely, especially the type that come into the country to sit on their ass and claim benefits - and don't say that doesn't happen, the street I used to live on was almost like Asian benefits street.

In a significant portion of those are not of European descent and not sharing in the common cultural background, you're setting yourself up for a huge huge culture clash in a two to three decades.
It might not be entirely obvious to an american, since american culture is mostly an amalgan culture from multiple different sources and it has been such pretty much from the get go. American cultural identity is largely a new thing in a lot of ways.
Even so, imagine if a quarter of children born in the US today had a significantly different cultural identity to the rest. They had families which come from countries with a different value system, quite different religion, cuisine...
Should I continue? The US generally sees the majority of it's immigrants coming from latin american countries as far as I know, who share similar value systems, which have a largely compatible religion (catholic vs protestant christian), which usually settle into places where their language is not unheard and where the local cuisine is massively influenced by their own. And even as such you're seeing cultural tensions, border clashes and a lot of other issues.
Another thing to remember is, that population density is already higher in Europe than it's in the States. So yes, similar figures are concerning.

The thing that annoys me about this stereotype is that it's true, my teeth are big and horrid shapes. Not caused by poor hygiene or anything, I go to the dentist every 6 months and I look after them, they're just big and weird. Genetics are strange.
Wow.

Because aesthetics /= health. Your teeth don't have to be perfectly straight and bleached white to be healthy.

"Mapped: How high is immigration in your area?"
Everywhere where immigration is high there's a huge change in birth\death ratio whereas area's where immigration is low the levels are low. This is by no means a positive thing and shows that immigration at it's current rate is leading to a unwanted population boom.
