[QUOTE=MrHeadHopper;47430409]Overweight models should get the same treatment, but we all know that is literally never going to happen in the history of ever.[/QUOTE] I agreed with this originally thinking you were trying to poke a hole in their logic by saying it's bullshit that they're singling out just the skinny women in particular and not even caring about obese people or other people with different eating disorders/health complications (even though this whole thing is a crock of shit and just plain wrong anyways) but after reading other peoples posts further down I'm not so sure that's what you meant.
I think this proposition needs a lot of thought. A lot. It seems pretty flawed, and there are probably better ways to drive the same point home.
I don't think body image should be regulated in any way. I'm fine with societal movements and programs or whatever, but a law that says you can't use a specific type of person in advertisements is quite messed up, especially when you consider all of the people who dream of nothing more than to be able to gain weight.
