Go familiarise your self with the term acclimatisation.
But that's one reason to have air conditioning.
29.5 degrees Celcius?
Are you seriously thinking that is actually hot?
Read the god damn thread. Perhaps if people actually read threads they would not look like morons.
Snow please. Please snow.
Snow please. Please snow.
If the prediction is correct (and why wouldn't it be, it was for the last two years and they got this heatwave right) we are in for a shit load of snow this year. I kinda like snow so I really hope we get a lot, I just hope I don't get stuck in it again.
pfft can't be Cairns 25 minimum average around 32 gets up to 40 in the summer with 90% humidity. (but in all honesty its shit I miss England's cold weather)
I'm getting that cloudy, windy weather you guys have.
Thank god most of the class rooms in my College (at least all the ones I'm in) have air conditioning.
This heat is fucking irritating.
I had a barbecue yesterday, and started to tremble and get dizzy because I played football in the heat.
Today it's not so nice. I'm wearing my dressing gown as opposed to nothing today.
I live in bleeding Norway and we had fucking 26.3 C* in October where I live.
Well, that didn't last very long. Back to normality. :v:
I'm from Florida and I've experienced power outages.
I feel your pain Britain.
why is it that everyone outside of Britain is saying how hot it is in their country and saying "herp derp Britain it's not hot turn on your air condition lol" ?
Nice and rainy today, huzzah!
Still quite hot today, but I live at the South Coast so there's a nice breeze.
The thing is, people in countries such as America are used to what would be considered heatwaves over here. Its always nice to have the occasional sunny day, but most of us are used to the cool and damp. After a while, we just want the overcast sky and drizzle again. Its simply what we're accustomed to, even though you'll often hear us complaining about it.
So fucking hot! (This past week I mean).
Today is still warm but not as warm and sunny.
Being on the tube is hell in this heat. I'm used to it being cold all the time, I haven't felt this warm since I was in Spain 2 years ago!
a lot of closures this weekend, gave me a good reason not to get on the tube :v:
This morning I had to fucking put the heating on.
Looks like the nice weather might be over sooner than I thought it would be.

I'm still sweating my socks off here.
This heat is extending the tourist season.
I live in a town on the seaside.
fuck. it's like a sauna in my house.
i hate hot weather. hope it snows.
I'm still sweating my socks off here.
Must just be the depressing Gloucester weather, then.
Its annoying as fuck. I don't really have any summer clothes this year so i look like a douchebag when it's this hot.
I think it might actually be hotter (where I am anyway) than it was yesterday now. Its still rather unpleasant.
Yesterday I was sitting in my own ball stew and today it's dull and raining. I like it better this way.
[editline]2nd October 2011[/editline]
I mean, it's dull and raining outside. Not my balls.

so do I, and it's been RAINING all day

Lucky you. I can't walk anywhere without being mobbed by people from the next county up off their balls on cider (one of the county's only two exports)
Atleast you've got heat. It's about 10 degrees celsius here. Fuck, I miss sumemr.
Stop your whining. I used to live in Qatar.
Now I am here and I don't see why you guys are complaining.
shame that this ended today
