US seperated from uk w/e post it anyway
Those were really bad.
I guess it's one of those - you had to be there (read: you had to be drunk) things.
British comedy's lost it's touch now I think, British sketch shows aren't as good as they were twenty/twenty-five years ago, the stand up is better (Bill Bailey ftw). All the really good US comedians are dead (Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Richard Pryor) all the ones still alive are just annoying to be honest. I really like Australian comedy, though. Steve Hughes is especially good.
There were just as many shit sketch shows and comedians 25 years ago as there are now. The good ones are all that people remember or give a shit about. The expansion of digital distribution and being aware of the scene as it is now just make it seems like quality has slipped
The Edinburgh fringe is crap anyways.
You'd think it's awesome if you actually left your house for once and went to the beer tents/shows with a bunch of mates.

The festivals and all that shit is annoying. Whenever I want to go anywhere the streets are clogged with all these pricks milling around clogging up everything wherever I go in the city centre. I have seen some of the shows myself and they aren't special. I can go to the museums, botanical gardens or various other things without paying anything and having just as much if not more fun.
I liked

Jim Gaffigan.
Five sounded like a Winston Churchill quote, ten was kinda funny if you enjoy anti-jokes, and eight sounded like something from Cracked.
No. 5 should have won. Also I think I've heard half of these before.
the last one's kind of sad
What are you on about?! It's fucking hilarious.
I was born in Glasgow and I find it funny.
5 and 10 are the only good ones.
The first one is the most intelligent out of all of those. The chess one really got me though.
