I know I bet if gay marriage were to be legal tomorrow (in every state), those who are so against it wouldn't even notice a difference. They would just be going on with their lives, like everybody else.

Unlikely, because the kinds of people who are against gay marriage would probably be too busy viciously protesting it to sit back and not do anything, thus realizing that nothing had changed for them.
That, and the huge Pride Parades there would probably be would stir them up.

There are legal benefits to marriage. If so, then we have to set a legal definition of what marriage is in the first place.

Didn't think there was any issue with a not-set-in-stone-as-man-and-woman definition.
To everyone:
you'd have to be an idiot to believe that a definition of marriage is strictly set to male and female and because of that it should stay that way. There is no set gender in marriage, all definitions saying "Male and female" are biased, because marriage ISN'T based on GENDER, its based on Person 1 and person A becoming 1 and 2 or A and B, its as simple as that, theres literally nothing more to it. There was never any set 'rules' before the beginning of man that marriage was destined to be between a male and a female, such medieval thinking is absolutely imaginary, and silly.
Hell, I wish that everyone in the world were both genders just so we would stop bitching about gender differences. A man has a penis, a woman has a vagina, who gives a shit? They can use it however the hell they please, so long as its perfectly natural. (Man/man, woman/woman is still natural)
