wonder how many said "Yes" as a joke.
4%
4% accepted that "shape-shifting alien reptilian people control our world by taking on human form"
13% isn't 1 in 4
fair and balanced posting
You expect fair and balanced posting... in SN??? PPFFFT
exactly how large was this sample?
According to the website of the poll takers, they had 1,247 respondents.
And yet, according to polls, over 50% of the United States also believes in Marijuana legalization and one of 14 countries that have either full or partially legalized gay marriage. Most European countries have entire voter blocs that are just as backwards and traditionalist as about half of Americans are, it's just that our health care system isn't as good, so people die off sooner, or are too fat to fit in a voting booth. In a lot of aspects, America is a damn nice place to live, and more progressive than about half the EU at this point.
I contemplated posting this in the videos section, but decided against it, but it's actually relevant! 1 in 4 Americans, apparently.
why is this article even controversial? it's obviously true. obummer resurrected my dead cat as satan. god bless murrica.
In other words, one in four Americans are fucking stupid.
4% accepted that "shape-shifting alien reptilian people control our world by taking on human form"
You trying to tell us something here OP?
1 in 4 Americans need to stop taking church so damn seriously.
I may be wrong, but I don't think 13% is one in four, fairly sure it's just over 1 in 8.
It's between 1 in 7 and 1 in 8.
13% isn't 1 in 4
13% think yes 13% not sure Their sum 26% equals "may be"
13% think yes 13% not sure Their sum 26% equals "may be"
You don't believe in something if you're not sure about it.
Obama is the leopard not the antichrist, jeez guys.
have any other us president been this widely accused of being the anitchrist?
I bet that a lot of people put in fake answers just to be funny.
I wish I was the anti Christ the powers you'd get with that title would probably be pretty sweet
As for the new testament, antichrist originally just meant the roman empire and emperor, identified as the polar opposite of the Christ figure (poverty - richness; all men are equal - society based on slavery; one god - whole lotta gods; you have to respect God - you have to respect the Emperor; etc). (In Ezra's apocalypse, the antichrist is 'Eagle with many wings') In judaism there was an antichrist too, where 'anti' is read as 'instead of'. Antichrist was who will pretend to be the jews' messiah but isn't. So in a way jews' antichrist is christian's christ, as jews doesn't recognize Christ as their messiah, but an impostor. The idea of the whole son of satan bringer of hell on earth came from early christian philosophers and church founding fathers. So yeah, Obama confirmed for reptilian alien in human costume
It's between 1 in 7 and 1 in 8.
I know, was just trying to point out that 13 is bloody less than 25 without sounding smug about knowing that. I love how the article blatantly says the survey was worded to slant the results and directly contradicts the title.

I hate making fun of William Tapley man, he speaks so much shit but he's an old man and looks adorable.
Man, if America was still one of the colonies this shit wouldn't be tolerated. Obama the antichrist, ha! It's obviously Richard Branson, how else could someone succeed in so many different fields of business?
biased questionnaire not news

Only one quarter. I thought it was pretty obvious he was the anti-christ.
No, too blue colored to be a purple turban.
ah i see....definitely the antichrist
28% of people believed in a sinister global New World Order conspiracy. 25% were "not sure" 46% are correct in thinking that it's bullshit.
NWO BIAS!!!1

Something tells me this poll is insanely biased and/or not accurately representational in its statistics
