46% are correct in thinking that it's bullshit.
in the strictest sense yes, there probably isnt some sort of NWO controlling everything. Its not like there arent cartels such as the bilderburg group colluding and exerting what influence they have though. these polls are dumb because they take everything to extremes
As for the new testament, antichrist originally just meant the roman empire and emperor, identified as the polar opposite of the Christ figure (poverty - richness; all men are equal - society based on slavery; one god - whole lotta gods; you have to respect God - you have to respect the Emperor; etc). (In Ezra's apocalypse, the antichrist is 'Eagle with many wings') In judaism there was an antichrist too, where 'anti' is read as 'instead of'. Antichrist was who will pretend to be the jews' messiah but isn't. So in a way jews' antichrist is christian's christ, as jews doesn't recognize Christ as their messiah, but an impostor. The idea of the whole son of satan bringer of hell on earth came from early christian philosophers and church founding fathers. So yeah, Obama confirmed for reptilian alien in human costume
aww ruin my fun but you have to admit though, Satanic powers like that would probably come in handy right about now "Oh, you think you can launch nukes at us, Kim? How cute...oh my, your silos appear to have been consumed by fiery pits of hell...did I do that? I'm terribly sorry."
That might actually be higher as ~80% of Americans are christian, the new testament has 10 references (I think) to the term antichrist, a few of such references in plural form.
But are those people(the ~80%) Christian, or are those people who 'believe in God'? Because those are two separate things. I find it hard to believe anywhere near 80% are Christian, but I find it believable that 80% might believe in some sort of 'God' however you want to define 'God'.

Can't believe I've ignored these fact up until now. [editline]7th April 2013[/editline]
Something tells me this poll is insanely biased and/or not accurately representational in its statistics
I'm inclined to agree, but I don't think the global warming stuff is really that far from the mark.
The History Channel and Fox News are doing their job well.
more than half suspect that a secretive global elite is trying to set up a New World Order

28% of people believed in a sinister global New World Order conspiracy.
28% IS NOT MORE THAN HALF, GUARDIAN
They might have asked a group of deep southerners, because I don't know anybody from the church I go to that believes this.
4% accepted that "shape-shifting alien reptilian people control our world by taking on human form"
Are they ugly like the reptile people from Chrono Trigger, or sexy like Argonians? My support of our new overlords hinges on this
OH MY GOD SOUTH PARK WAS RIGHT, ONE IN FOUR AMERICANS ARE RETARDED!
what I find weird about this is yesterday I made a joke about Obama being the Antichrist, hmm... clearly I am the Overmind to 25% of America
28% IS NOT MORE THAN HALF, GUARDIAN
They also said that 13% is one in four, Guardian seems to think that 1 whole = 50%.
They also said that 13% is one in four, Guardian seems to think that 1 whole = 50%.
Or you guys could read and see that they also counted the "I don't knows" and "maybes"
Or you guys could read and see that they also counted the "I don't knows" and "maybes"
I saw, the whole survey was bullshit, why give people two options if you're going to count them as the same thing? Not to mention they admittedly reworded the questions to confuse people.
I wonder what the 6% of Democrats who think Obama is the anti-christ think about him leading their favoured party. Then again, I think I might be the type of people to vote for a guy if he was the anti-christ just to see what would happen. For science.
