Like a genuine wilderness survival game without ~occult~ or ~zombies~
Just like Europe.
Which is why Game of Thrones didn't pick multiple locations in Europe to film it's fantastical scenery.
:downs:
This trailer had me at the camp skeleton from the beginning.
I kinda doubt that the game will look exactly like this when it releases though.
That skeleton has a really sassy walk at the start.
Also why is there skeleton wtf
there were skeletons (and giants and massive eagles and shit) 10k years ago, but luckily we won the Human-Skeleton War

I like how it comes down to Game Of Thrones. :v:
Just like Europe.
Yes, because the entirety of Europe looks exactly the same.
The mountains of Norway look just like the landscapes in scotland.
Of course.

Considering how well known it is, I'd imagine it as a good example since I doubt you've ever seen Europe in real life if you think it's that samey.

That's actually not true.
Humans and skeletons intermingled and skeletons were displaced and bred out of existence. It's why most people have skeleton DNA in them as well as skeletal features such as a skeletal system. Previously, humans had bones, they just didn't have skeletons

And also this game which looks better and is also PS4.

If you had not mentioned that was a game I probably would have assumed it was real life, but mostly because the compression artifacts hide a lot.

Looks better actually, though still compressed to 720p facebook crap.
The grass seems very reasonable. Flower, a game on PS3, and Vita (handheld device), had grass which was very similar (albeit with cartoonishly bright green colors), which even reacted to physics.

nvm that's not the crew
The premise reminds me a lot of this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BC_%28video_game%29
Hopefully, it doesn't share its fate.
Im gonna be a hot sassy giantess skeleton who spooks across the land like no other.

This is true, people are still discovering ancient skeleton fossils to this day.
i thought this game was going to be realistic, but then skeletons and giants had to ruin it
Were bows even widely used in that time era? Javelins and slings maybe but I don't think bows were a big hunting weapon.
And the skeleton shamanism magic looks cool as shit.

I get what you mean. It's like with Superman, the most unrealistic thing about him is that he works at a thriving newspaper company

Thus producing the great hero, skeleton man

The bow and arrow was invented in or around the late paleolithic, which was a few thousand years before the setting of this game.
Looks like it's filled with boring hills with nothing on them though.
Open worlds can still help make a game feel better even if there's not much in them.
Just try and imagine Wind Waker or Shadow of the Colossus if they didn't have an open world.

I'm sure it has different locales, but do you think they're just going to reveal everything now? Of course not.
This is a game that actually looks like it will be similar to genuinely fucking weird Celtic-y pagan mythology without actually being a painfully obtuse caricature.
especially since you can apparently be a deer and the celts were all about transmogrifying into random animals
why isn't it coming to nintendo 64?????
I have no idea what this is and how it works.
the giant woman makes this an easy purchase for me. wonder if i'll be able to get crushed between her thighs or if she'll only be able to step on me?
Wow, now that's a system seller.
Seriously looks like Sony knows how to sell a console, they got a lot of cool stuff like this coming out.

I couldn't help but think of Shrek at that guy crouching away from a tree in a swamp.
"prehistoric"
less than a minute into the trailer a guy is sharpening a stick with an iron sword
:I
