This caught my interest at Gamescom, I'll definitely give it a try.
there were skeletons (and giants and massive eagles and shit) 10k years ago, but luckily we won the Human-Skeleton War
Little did we know, the enemy was within us all this time.
Missed the chance to have this as the theme:
I couldn't help but think of Shrek at that guy crouching away from a tree in a swamp.
I can only imagine groups of players living in the swamps claiming to be ogre's
the giant woman makes this an easy purchase for me. wonder if i'll be able to get crushed between her thighs or if she'll only be able to step on me?

Which is why Game of Thrones didn't pick multiple locations in Europe to film it's fantastical scenery.
:downs:

Yes, because the entirety of Europe looks exactly the same.
The mountains of Norway look just like the landscapes in scotland.
Of course.
Goddamn I'm still upset they canceled this to make Fable.
This is exactly how I imagine prehistorical life.
Looks better actually, though still compressed to 720p facebook crap.

People seem to laugh at me whenever I say that the PS4 is a pretty good piece of hardware. In terms of raw power, of course it'll suck compared to a $4,000 PC but it's a $400 box and it will play games that look and perform better that today's $1500 PC won't, that's just objective fact. "Half Life 2 Lost Coast HDR, only available on the X800" remember that promotion from Steam?
Remember the Pentium D and ATI X800? That was hot shit in 2005. The Xbox/Playstation 3 lasted until 2013, try playing Sleeping Dogs or Batman Arkham Origins on the lowest settings on that X800 and Pentium D processor. You'd be lucky if it even ran.
i thought this game was going to be realistic, but then skeletons and giants had to ruin it
a fantastical element to a game is nothing to be afraid of, it can help prevent the world from becoming dry.
Once tech gets good enough that things like movement would be fluid enough to be fully engaging, a "realistic" game's possible, but right now things are too stiff to really draw people into a nature game like that. At the very least this is true for AAA titles.

if this is an MMO in any capacity, FP needs to make spook squad

You have a point but $1500 is stretching it. Maybe somewhere in the area of $800 or $600 if you use really cheap PSU/case/no optical drive or ssd/stock heatsink/cheapo mobo etc.

You can get a computer with the same power for about 400 bucks(less if you scavange parts from old pc's).

That's using hand-me-down hardware though. It will have the same power but it will run games worse because a PC won't be as optimized as the Playstation 4 so if the average person asked me whether to get a PC or a console, I'd still go with the console because it'd last a good 6 years. A mid-tier PC now will last 3-4 and really start to bog down.
I love the PC platform, I think it pays for itself and I've been gaming on the PC since the mid-90s but I think consoles get a bad reputation when it really isn't justified.
Oh look, it's Horo or the Wolf Princess!

I've been trying to argue this for ages, but some people just seem to believe that consoles have no place in this world at all.
