not really
....you do realize that the United States probably has more personal freedoms than just about any other major nation on the planet right? We make Europe look like a police state.
which is why abortion, gay marriage, weed are all legal in the us
right?
lol, gunfox, can you point out Europe on a map btw?

not blood thirsty at all.. just takin' care of of 'dem terrorist :patriot:
Yes thank you, I'm aware that in rare cases they really are blood thirsty. You will also note however that they also have legal action brought against them in both cases.
Of course note that in the case of blackwater, they really were attacked. It was a pitiful attack and they freaked the fuck out and went cyclic, but there actually was an attack on the convoy.
That's nice; that doesn't mean you can say you're better when you're still working at becoming better.
I didn't say anything like that

Oh, sorry, thought you were agreeing with people who were. It's been a long 34 hours of wakefulness.

with the massive fucking collateral damage, you call it rare?
I can pull countless cases of rape, murder, torture etc
I do think we are a quite free nation though
I actually hope it gets released. Can't wait to hear all the Americans yelling "JUSTIFIED!".
Well in the last video there WERE Ak-47's, the ground crew even confirmed it. Was it horrible? Yep. But in a war where Citizens become combatants and go back to being citizens again all within a single minute, this is bound to happen eventually
I do think we are a quite free nation though
We're okay, not the best, nowhere near the worst, though.
I do think we are a quite free nation though
yeah but to say more then Europe? MORE so then Europe that makes it look like a police state
yeah but to say more then Europe? MORE so then Europe that makes it look like a police state
And no, they had no weapons

Yeah but the van bit was really uncalled for, even if they weren't "officially medics" they were just there collecting the wounded/dead.
which is why abortion, gay marriage, weed are all legal in the us

US political system 101: Certain things are illegal because we are a conglomeration of states which severe limitations on the extent of our Federal government's powers in order to preserve personal freedoms.
Abortion is legal in most states. Gay marriage laws are slowly gaining ground. Weed is, oddly enough, forbidden by federal law (They exercise a nasty technicality to justify it.) however in spite of this, states are seriously considering ignoring it and arresting federal agents attempting to enforce such laws.
It is because we intentionally place so little power in our government that we move slowly in terms of large legal reform. Or any large scale reform. This is almost identical to why we still use the imperial system. The Federal government uses metric, but doesn't have the legal power to impose such a change on the states.
I do think we are a quite free nation though
overall yes
but people like nationalist GunFox think the US is like the pioneer of freedom :patriot:
there are many other freer nations than the US

FREEDOM, RIGHT GUNFOX?
The UK just outlawed drawn pictures of nude little girls. And would have arrested the girl for this as well.
The second one was illegal anyways. Herp derp.
(They exercise a nasty technicality to justify it.) however in spite of this, states are seriously considering ignoring it and arresting federal agents attempting to enforce such laws.

That's going to be one huge mess if they do that.
he ground crew made a lot of sketchy claims

Yeah, They did. You can even CLEAR AS DAY see one laying on the ground after the first engagement
Yeah because nobody will notice Wikileaks ceasing updates
Nah, the US government would subtly replace him.
"NEW UPDATE GUYS! LOL FUNNY CAT VIDEO!"
The internet will never know the difference
That's going to be one huge mess if they do that.
I know. I really with it would happen. It would be a joy to watch the resulting shit storm. Something about ATF agents surrounding a house for a raid and then in turn being surrounded by local law enforcement and SWAT is just a hilarious mental image.

Who would actually be able to stop all involved parties from shooting everything that moves, anyway? That seems like somethings that the POTUS would have to do at that point.
overall yes

Yeah, look at China, Vietnam, India, Russia, so much freer than the US.
You're being an idiot. Compared to the vast majority of the world's population, citizens of the US have got it made. How about you stop taking such rights as freedom of speech, freedom of religion, right to a trial by jury, blocking of blanket search warrants, and the thousands of other liberties you get for granted? "Waaaaah! Weed is illegal!!!" Guess what? You're actually allowed to say that in the U.S. without getting thrown in prison, but instead of actually respecting that fact, you just keep bitching about every single civil liberty imaginable, and when you get them, you just keep wanting more. Sure, strive for more freedom, but do it in a way that doesn't disrespect the rest of the planet while you're doing it.
I too would prefer weed to be legal.
with the massive fucking collateral damage, you call it rare?
I can pull countless cases of rape, murder, torture etc
Please do pull out the sources of rape from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
The UK just outlawed drawn pictures of nude little girls. And would have arrested the girl for this as well.

Damnit.
Yeah, look at China, Vietnam, India, Russia, so much freer than the US.

Because striving for more when you already have things that others doesn't is arrogant and horrible. We should just stop progressing at all until the rest of the world catches up, otherwise we're disrespecting everyone else.
That's the extent of what you're saying, and that is completely fucking baseless.
US political system 101: Certain things are illegal because we are a conglomeration of states which severe limitations on the extent of our Federal government's powers in order to preserve personal freedoms.
This sentence makes NO sense.
I spent 4 years in a US history class, btw. I hope it means something... because, like, I don't even know what you're saying.
Abortion is legal in most states.
Roe v Wade has SO many fucking loop holes the states keep trying to jump through. It may be legal, but it's forced as much as it can be for the US.
Gay marriage laws are slowly gaining ground.
6 states only a few years after SODOMY LAWS(forget about those?) were taken out... sure. SLOWLY is an overstatement.
Weed is, oddly enough, forbidden by federal law (They exercise a nasty technicality to justify it.) however in spite of this, states are seriously considering ignoring it and arresting federal agents attempting to enforce such laws.
lol, a rare occasion in this case doesn't make Europe a fucking police state, right?
I'd also like a source for that
It is because we intentionally place so little power in our government that we move slowly in terms of large legal reform. Or any large scale reform. This is almost identical to why we still use the imperial system. The Federal government uses metric, but doesn't have the legal power to impose such a change on the states.
The lines of Federalism have been blurred so fucking much. Supremacy clause is still in place boyo
and this finds the source of the problem, not the fucking problem
and let me make this fucking clear, this is just a few examples.
