Scientists find evidence for 'chronesthesia,' or mental time travel
Interesting. I'm kinda chronesthetic myself, as on occassion I see fleeting glimpses of my own future in my dreams. It's rather weak, and not very useful in the long run (I haven't glimpsed any significant future events yet), but it's cool to know I have it, though at times I wish it were more powerful. (it's kinda hard to prove I have it, as I can't control it or use it on a larger scale)
To be fair, it ain't simply chronesthetic, but in a weirder catergory.
Doesn't this sort of thing happen to everyone? Two nights ago, I had a dream that my grandfather sent me $50 for Christmas and I went and spent it. I woke up the next morning and in my mailbox was $50 from my grandfather. Yeah, it's freaky when it happens. But isn't there almost always an explanation? In my situation, my grandfather probably told me about it but I just forgot. Sometimes I think my subconscious mind does this to fuck with me.

I bet it happened last year, and the year before, and you just got used to it and forgot it, and as such when it happened again you remembered, and it felt oddly new and yet old at the same time.
If this were a superpower the superhero would be Captain Hindsight from South Park.

Nothing special.
The title is misleading as fuck.
It's easy to disregard as deja vu, for those who are so narrow-minded that they can't conceive the possibility of things beyond their understanding.
I'm open to things that aren't fully understood, that's how I stay alive. Since some of you aren't as open as I, i'd say you've doomed to stay closed for all eternity, at best. Ignorance is a pretty lethal lizard, after all.
What you described is deja vu, are you autistic or something?

This has nothing to do with deja vu anyway, its just new data on what parts of and how the brain considers its future environment and recollects on past environment. Involved in decision making.
I catch glimpses of this but it feels completely subconscious, thus would really serve no practical purpose unless I could completely isolate the time frame of what I'm seeing and be able to remember what I've seen completely, which I can't.
Could this be an explanation for deja vu?

Deja vu is a memory/thought that jumps directly to your long term memory, skipping short term memory.

There's a difference between being open minded and being illogically wishful to believe in something that clearly doesn't exist.
Please tell me, what makes you think we can actually read into the future? Wouldn't this be supported by, I don't know, science? I might as well go get my palms read.
Pseudoscience lmao
I was wondering why I always had a random nostalgic moment whenever something mundane happend. You know, whenever you get that feeling that you've already done something then pause to take a minute to think about it, and quickly forget what it was shortly after it happens.
Kinda weird how this shit works and I'm not sure I like it too much.
