I would argue that the working class doesn't exist, and that families like this are more a dropoff from the middle class which are very much dominant in the UK. Work or be like this in other words.
Just to let you know all classes aren't hard-and-fast categories that are unmoving, they're reflections of the relationships between the wealth and position of people. The working class will always exist just as the upper class will always exist no matter how rich a country is.

All I'm saying is that there is a group, a small minority, that seem to be uncatergotised, the example being in the article. And I hate saying that because it means that, even in the most roundabout way, I have to admit The Fail is sort of right to highlight it.
Not that what they are doing is right, but it's not as easy living as some are making it out to be.

She wrote that working was 'a mug's game', adding: 'Why work when I can legally take your hard-earned money and you can't say s*** to me?'
Having 3 kids and not refusing to ever work is disgusting.
i always wondered how many kids one person could have like tripplets 3 times in a row or some crazy shit octomom x2
i'm sure you rarely look at the mirror
Like the article, you seem to have mixed up fertile and contraceptive:

The children are blonde so I'm surprised the average Daily Mail reader isn't calling for the eradication of everyone except them

Saying the working class doesn't exists is pretty shortsighted though, I'm sure a few of those 12 classes you say exist could easily fit under a 'working class' class. Plus I reckon this family would definitely fit under one of those 12 though it may not seem it. All the Daily mail is really achieving by highlighting shit like this is shaming welfare recipients unnecessarily because of some weird dislike for poor people who have a need for larger housing or more government money. Its some frightening logic when taken to its extreme.
I never knew the UK had white trash.
I never knew the UK had white trash.
You have never been there have you
Super-Chav would be a more accurate description
I never knew the UK had white trash.
They really look more appropriate in the backwoods of Tennessee in a trailer surrounded by a dozen rusted, broken cars
The children are blonde so I'm surprised the average Daily Mail reader isn't calling for the eradication of everyone except them
Is this necessary. Call out what you see, not what you wish would happen.
They really look more appropriate in the backwoods of Tennessee in a trailer surrounded by a dozen rusted, broken cars
I hate this stereotype. Mainly because when I am not at college I live in the backwoods of TN in a trailer. We dont have broken cars though, those were all sold to metal scrapers. :v:
Is this necessary. Call out what you see, not what you wish would happen.
It was racial hypocrisy and doublestandards. I think it is necessary to point out.
It was racial hypocrisy and doublestandards. I think it is necessary to point out.
Nothing is being pointed out. He's saying that he's surprised he's not seeing something that he isn't seeing (therefore no hypocricy) Call people out on shit they say, don't strawman something up and then say "lol surprised they didn't do x"
Wow and I only get $6,110AUD a year in youth allowance despite being the sole tenant of a rental. If work didn't call me in an extra two shifts above my rostered shifts per week (thankfully I'm the first person they go to if they need someone to come in) I wouldn't be able to support myself. Very complicated story as to why I can't live with my parents. It's people like this who ruin the welfare system for everyone, despite the fact that some people genuinely do need a helping hand.
