And you're saying that like there's no scumbag theists either
No, I did say there's them "On religious side too."
Like the archbishops, popes and the other wankjobs they have on their payrolls. But they are not the kinda scumbags who do drugs, thefts or killings and stuff like that.

I still have absolutely no idea what you're trying to say.

Oh the blissful of ignorance then
Its dumb to fight about it, because in the end, no one knows whats between the buns.
Also why does atheists always insult my logic? Its like the universal way of shutting the mouth on people you disagree with. You never really consider the possiblity of a misunderstanding.
We can always say that what we are made of is X and conclude that Y causes this to happen because of Z, but what about Z? We can figure that out too, but what causes the underlying things? In the end, if we ever find one, we will either find god or shit knows whatever else, you can call it vacuum energy if you want, but we will never figure out what the fuck that actually makes everything happen. We can see a dot, its black, we perceive it as a dot, but what is this dot? What does it do? Why is it here? What made it happen? Therefore, god is neither something you can proove, or disproove. Its up to you what you want to think, but its never more right than what another person thinks. So just stop bashing and try to find ways to unify with people instead of seperating yourself from them.

this is an extreme example, but what if you were black and your next door neighbour was a racist and white supremacist
would you still try to ignore your differences and get along with him, despite the fact his ideology says that you're subhuman? you could talk to him and try to get him to see sense, but that's not the same as just ignoring his beliefs
I'm not trying to compare religion to racism in this context, just using the extreme example to make a point

sometimes you really can't just "all get along". some beliefs and philosophies explicitly reject "getting along" with certain kinds of people

No atheist knows with absolute certainty whether a god exists or not. However, just because it's something you can't prove or disprove doesn't mean both sides are equally valid. The religious are the ones claiming that their god exists and make decisions based on the assumption, so they're the ones who have to justify themselves.
Still, I don't have any problem with people who are religious. I actually think that coming to the conclusion that a god created everything is natural, though I disagree with it. As long as they don't force the tenants on others, especially on their children, I think we can coexist.

go fuck yourself.

Because your logic is terrible.
Its like the universal way of shutting the mouth on people you disagree with. You never really consider the possiblity of a misunderstanding.
Who's trying to shut you up? At least we're extending the courtesy of responding to your arguments.

And you're just so sure.

what
Its up to you what you want to think, but its never more right than what another person thinks.
Yes they are. Yes, one belief can, in fact, be more right than another belief, by virtue of being more consistent with logic and our observations of the universe. Saying that the earth is perfectly round is less wrong than saying that the earth is flat. Saying that science is right and theism is wrong is less wrong than saying that science and theism, two beliefs built on ENTIRELY CONTRADICTORY AXIOMS, are both right.

How about you drop this "tolerance" charade and actually argue your point, excercise some basic fucking conviction in your own beliefs. Instead of crying about how we're mean and intolerant so as to deflect any criticisms.

Actually, science is pretty much the practice of finding out what makes everything happen, and then using that knowledge.
Also, that dot of ultimate arguing you have there could totally be explained by science. The logic doesn't even make sense, we find out what things are, what they do, why it's here, and what made it here all the time.
And given enough time, we might actually be able to answer why everything is. We've only been doing this science shit for a ridiculously small amount of time, so it's probably best to not make jidgements about what can and can't be proven or disproven.
Well, knowing that your life is completely void of meaning or higher purpose, and no hope for an eternal afterlife in happiness surly doesn't produce optimism.
Lying to yourself to feel better, however, is just stupid and ignorant
And a drunk man is happier than a sober one
indeed
