Aside from the echo chamber shitfest that is r/the_don, are the more rational trump voters actually coming around?
I figure most of the "rational" trump voters were probably not too invested into politics and honestly have no idea about him pulling the rug from under their feet post-election.

-snip- Nevermind, I found a source. Sorry, didn't want to succumb anyone to one of his rallies lol

I have to keep my skepticism though, NOT because of bias, but because it keeps me at least somewhat grounded in the middle. But I didn't really hear a "lock her up" here, which feels like it takes away from the initial assumption the article is claiming. I might very well be wrong and just have completely shit hearing. But it sounds more like a request to participate in good faith, at least? Which wouldn't surprise me since his hyper-rhetoricity speeches have simmered down ever since election. You know each and every one of those attending would have freaked the fuck out if he had dismissed his Hillary statements at one of his own rallies.
Eh, I'm probably stretching it here, I dunno.
EDIT:
I guess what I'm trying to get across is that it seems like his standard speech pattern. He mentions a name he's previously talked about, followed by crowd booing, followed by the whole "No, no, it's okay" spiel he's done at every other speech he's had. Someone very well could have said "lock her up" not in connection to his dismissal that the article ran with. But I could very well be wrong.

I had to increase the volume on my headphones quite a bit, but I heard it around 0:14 thereabouts. Very faint, but definitely there.
As far as his speech pattern goes, it definitely sounds different.
So are his supporters going to realize they got duped or are they still going to blame liberals even when they control 2 branches of government and are likely going to control the judicial too
Yes.
As for the living god thing, I don't know whether to have unforgiving rage, utter disgust, or apathy over the bullshit. I am unfortunately not surprised since there are a shitton of crazy supporters.
"4 legs good, 2 legs bad!"
Now
"4 legs good, 2 legs better!"
Congrats Tudd

Gee whiz, if I didn't know any better I'd think he likes campaigning more than being president.
Can't fault him for dishonesty I suppose.
Can't fault him for dishonesty I suppose.
Having a campaign partially based around locking Clinton up and then turning back on that promise when you're elected is the definition of dishonesty, dude.
Oh my god this is terrible... can someone please get Tudd so I can make sense of all of this!
WHERE IS TUDD!?
Having a campaign partially based around locking Clinton up and then turning back on that promise when you're elected is the definition of dishonesty, dude.
What I meant was he's very honest about all those promises he's breaking. I would expect a regular politician to just swoop everything under the rug and ignore their existence.

...and this changes things how exactly?
I mean, open disdain for your voters to this degree before you even are officially sworn in is the opposite of admirable.

I wasn't saying it's admirable. Sarcasm doesn't transfer well over text.

It's not even shame we just don't feel like getting fucking dogpiled in pointless internet arguements after we already won and there's nothing left to argue.
It's not even shame we just don't feel like getting fucking dogpiled in pointless internet arguements after we already won and there's nothing left to argue.
How is there nothing left to argue? Surely you could argue over his Trump picks and what you think of them?
How have you "won" when it appears that Trump is going to backpedal on so many of his policies?
IF you're afraid of being dog-piled why not all show up together? Why are you afraid of arguing with multiple people anyway?
It's not even shame we just don't feel like getting fucking dogpiled in pointless internet arguements after we already won and there's nothing left to argue.
trump supporters get 'dogpiled' because they make outrageous claims with no viable source to back it up, then go full sperg and lash out rather than try to defend their position
example:
trumpet: "immigrants are destroying our country"
person: "got a source on that?"
t: "no, i just ~know~ things that your liberal media doesn't :^)"
p: "get the fuck outta here with that shit"
and then it just descends from there 9 times out of 10
It's not even shame we just don't feel like getting fucking dogpiled in pointless internet arguements after we already won and there's nothing left to argue.
That sounds like a really convenient excuse to avoid ever having to actually defend and quantify your beliefs
How is there nothing left to argue? Surely you could argue over his Trump picks and what you think of them?

What? I don't really care to argue his staff picks, yeah, there's some good, there's bad, there's ugly.
Lmao what the fuck do you mean how did we "win", The candidate we supported won arguably the highest position of power on the planet. Are you trying to imply we haven't truly won till we've stood the trials of combat in brutal shitpost wars in the halls of Sensationalist headlines and intellectually bested everyone? Also we're not some collective hive mind that's going to fucking co-ordinate on some discord and go "AH YES BOYS WE STRIKE AGAINST THE GLOBALIST IN THIS THREAD AT THIS TIME, UNITED WE STAND! MAGA!"

Even if Trump literally destroyed the US and put it into the Great Depression 2.0 a ton of Trump supporters would still kiss his laces and blame black people or muslims or something
No I mean, how have you won when the man who promised to do multiple things seems to be going against his word and appears to not be meeting your needs and demands?
That's not a victory, that's a defeat.
I'd rather you argue in good faith than in the bad faith you have here. I'm very willing to have a debate if you are.
It's very convenient for people to merely shrug it off as "lol we won what is there to argue"
but you'd have to be an idiot to not realize that just because you won doesn't mean you're right
It's very possible Clinton could have done pretty terrible shit, and done terrible, but Trump certainly isn't the correct answer and Trump supporters refuse to give a real reason why. It's an unbelievably convenient selective ignorance.

Trump not doing things he promised is the ultimate fuck you to Trump supporters
Even if Trump truly went against everything they wanted outright, many of them will not admit to having been duked
Like the dude says he's pro-LGBT but his VP is one of the most anti-LGBT people out there, as is some of his cabinet

I never really expected him to do most of this outlandish shit he said he'd do, day 2 of his announced victory I decided I could give less of a shit what happens to Hillary at this point, prosectuion or no.
Hell I was genuinely suprised to find out he's actually going to try and build a wall.

He means how have you and his supporters have won anything from his victory
As in what positives did you recieve from his victory. Considering Trump completely backflipped on his promise to drain the swamp and is giving complete power to the establishment and corporations, I'd say you lost.
Those weren't even the only things he lied or backpedaled about. Seriously, what are you going to gain from his presidency?

Well most likely we'll see a cultural shift where the BLM and violent protest and identity politics bullshit get phased out and no longer recognized as valid platforms.

by a man whos supporters can only exist in the safe space that is donald board on reddit?
Edit:
yeah, like the democratic party is heading toward identity politics and I dont like that and will fight against it, but trumps platform literally validates the folks who sit in safe spaces, banning all who oppose even slightly, instead of having debates with others

Are you joking? All that shit is going to just intensify as a response to Trump's antagonism.
