It means exactly what it says. Being bisexual is nothing special and it doesn't automatically make you a not-homophobe.
I've known plenty of people perfectly okay with threesomes with a partner of their own gender who are still homophobic assholes.

It wasn't. It means precisely what it says and nothing more. Stop reading into subtext that isn't there.
Now I don't know or care whether continuing to buy from chick-fil-a makes you a homophobe. It's a label and it's almost completely irrelevant.
What does matter is that anyone who continues to buy from them now knowing this information them is indeed knowingly funding hate groups. It doesn't matter if you don't hate gays. It doesn't matter if you just want chicken. The fact that you are continuing to fund hate groups knowingly for a minor convenience makes you a terrible person, relatively similar to all those who showed up specifically to give support to chik-fil-a's policies.
Don't be a terrible person. Don't fund hate groups simply because you're lazy. Don't do things that have the same negative effect as the things that homophobic conservatives do. It's as easy as that. Really.
Stop fighting guys. We need to realize who the real enemy is.

liberals have a major tendency to like giving to the less fortunate. Minorities, in many cases, are less fortunate. As a result, they vote for liberals. It all has to do with the natural tendency of humanity to want everything it can get. My personal attitude is that if I didn't work for it I don't want it, but if I did work on it I certainly don't want it taken away by taxes or whatever. As a result, I vote conservative.
The humor in this is that it may be the bullet that kills the company. Having people rallying against you won't hurt business much. Happens all the time.
