Nearly all countries allow airsoft guns to look like real firearms. Although in the US they gotta have orange tips.
In US you have to have an orange tip for importing or sales, you can take them off at any time,

Uh.....to be sold in the united states; yes, yes they do. To be carried around....not necessarily, although it's reccomended and also common sense to not walk around in public your airsoft gun out, tip or no tip. If you wish to skirmish though, certain fields will not let you play with a gun lacking the tip. Not all though.
But if you want to buy a gun in the us or have one shipped to you, you'll get one with a blazed tip.

The japanese one was lucky to make it through customs then. The other two was probably just the store's negligence. But it is in fact a law for most, if not all states.
Where did you order from for the one shipped from japan?

Another victim of Grand Theft Auto syndrome.
Why won't anybody think of the children?
It would have been funnier if a kid dressed as a cop got in his toy cop car and chased him.

Probably due to the ebay shop.
It's the same deal with the UK, orange tips/bodies, that sort of thing. I'm not entirely clued up on actual weapon carrying laws but I know that if a gun looks real, the police will probably assume it is real.
Without a UKARA (Or a receipt proving purchase prior to the VCR Act) Airsoft weapons are illegal in the UK.

I know its not the same gun, but I couldn't resist
That kid is pimpin..
I'd put money on GTA4 being blamed and the kid getting a slapped wrist...

Wrong. It is perfectly legal for anyone over the age of 18 to purchase and own an airsoft weapon. If you have a UKARA membership (3 matches in 2 months I believe?) then you may purchase a realistic imitation firearm ("realistic being; near identical to genuine weapon, no markings etc). If you dont have a UKARA membership then you can still purchase an airsoft weapon but it MUST be clearly identifiable as an imitation firearm by being at least 50% brightly coloured (blue, green, pink, orange and red I believe?) OR transparent.
tl;dr, perfectly legal to own airsoft weapons in UK, must be 50% brightly coloured if no UKARA member
