• Microsoft confirmed to be totally mental, predicts over a billion next-gen consoles sold.

The Xbox 360 only sold this much units because you had to buy two each year to have a working game console.
Can't Microsoft screw themselves over by even manufacturing 1 billion Xbox One units? I mean, won't that be an outrageously expensive failure on their part?
Hahaha, oh wow, 1 billion? Not even considering as "sold consoles" all the replacement parts which will be made for them. Which will be a lot, if it turns out to be as reliable as the 360.
Hell, if Xbox fails, you think MS will start to have them make games for windows again and not just ports, without shitty GFWL crap?
If it fails, Microsoft will simply abandon the gaming market altogether, claiming that no one is interested anymore. That's how business goes, these days.
To be fair, getting a plane made out of bricks to lift off would be pretty damn impressive, regardless of what happened afterwards.
Well its not really due to the weight, because airplanss are already heavy as shit but the brittleness. The wings would snap off real quick. Its more like a hot air baloon except the air is bricks
