• 15 Years Later: New Scientific Paper in Reputable Physics Journal Argues 9/11 Was An Inside Job

Well, I just read all that paper. I'm disappointed. It's nothing new or ground breaking. Just the same stuff about free falls, fire not causing collapse, and thermite that you hear all the time.
The amount of people needed to cover this up without any leaks of any kind is almost impossible compared to a few men hijacking heavily fueled airliners and crashing them into buildings for both religious and geopolitical reasons.
Like others said. There was a motive. The most likely answer the government knew about it but just let it happen or are incompetent.
Did you know that objects dont go from solid, to liquid, to gas, like some kind of jump cut? Its a gradient. No, the fires werent enough to MELT the steel, but its likely they were hot enough to reduce the strength of the steel as it gets less solid as it heats up. Now add in debris hitting the shit out of the framework and heat warping, there you go. [editline]13th September 2016[/editline] Hell the video you yourself posted shows part of the building falling before the rest. Which as we all know, additional debris falling on an already damaged framework does wonders for its integrity.
so you think the penthouse collapsed and then caused every supporting column in the building, east to west, north to south, top to bottom, to suddenly let loose all at the same time from a small isolated collapse of a penthouse? And I have no idea what you're getting at with the first part of your post
Um...9-11? (I honestly don't know)
(this is not my opinion just what people say as their reasoning) To start the IRAQ war for resources as well as the bush families personal vendetta against IRAQ, also to justify the patriot act.
so you think the penthouse collapsed and then caused every supporting column in the building, east to west, north to south, top to bottom, to suddenly let loose all at the same time from a small isolated collapse of a penthouse? And I have no idea what you're getting at with the first part of your post
If you don't understand the first part of his post, is it possible that you don't understand enough about the topic of metallurgy to judge the structural integrity of a high rise structure? Maybe you should stop making frivolous claims about things you don't understand. Don't be one of those people who doesn't understand something and argues with the scientists and experts who have evidence on their side just because you don't get it:
so you think the penthouse collapsed and then caused every supporting column in the building, east to west, north to south, top to bottom, to suddenly let loose all at the same time from a small isolated collapse of a penthouse?
A fucking PENTHOUSE dropped through the building. Infact, if you pay attention, the collapse starts where the penthouse collapsed through.
And I have no idea what you're getting at with the first part of your post
Take a science class for fucks sake. Holy smokes how old are you? Did you fail school?
I've always thought of the 9/11 conspiracy theories as the left's equivalent of the right's birther crowd.
Let us not tolerate any outrageous conspiracy theories! you are either with us or you are with the terrorists! Hey, I'm just curious. What does this look like to you?
The tower ultimately cost him billions of dollars, even more for the city. He isn't some insane mogule gathering money from the death of thousands, and no corporation is powerful enough to take town the most important landmark in NYC. Silverstein was losing money up until Freedom Tower was created and is a credit to the New York community.
I think the most outlandish thing of all is that people somehow think that if there was even a small remote chance that those insurance companies had doubts that he was causing insurance fraud they'd let him get away with it. Somehow capitalism stops applying when it comes to conspiracy theories.
Why is it so hard to believe having a giant fucking 400 ton metal tube rocketing into a building at several hundred miles per hour is enough to fuck up the structural integrity of a building with massive weight?
Because its frightening and seemingly causeless. Its too simple. Basically people need something complex to give meaning to the horrible things that happen instead of the possibility that bad things can happen with little to no forewarning or reason. So people construct grand conspiracies to explain them, to make something so big that can be deconstructed to fit such a massive tragedy. For some people its easier to handle the idea that a vast governmental conspiracy plotted and planned a massive disaster than it is to think that a few individuals with the right motivation and planning could kill thousands. That latter idea is terrifying even for people not inclined to conspiracy theories. Its sorta like how there is something of a growing fear of mass shootings in this country, and even in some others in the world.

And I have no idea what you're getting at with the first part of your post
I'm glad to see you blissfully ignored everything about the insurance so that you could double down on your theories on collapsing buildings. It's amazing, nobody would argue with a scientist about cell theory, or a doctor about wounds, but every truther apparently has a degree in physics and architecture and will willingly ignore all information they have from actual experts in order to prop up their theories.

Take. A science class. Please.
a skyscraper did not fall on it, you know that, it was hit by a small amount of debris and a few floors caught fire. Watch the video. The fucking building goes into a perfectly symmetrical freefall. I guess controlled demolition companies went out of business after 9/11 because, apparently, all you have to do is start some random fires in a steel frame highrise and it will go into a freefall straight into its own footprint. I guess that the building code for highrises must have been seriously amended right? ...right? [editline]13th September 2016[/editline] Also I'm not saying I know who did it, that's not my point. Nor is it the point of the OP.
Aren't buildings designed to collapse a certain way in case of this exact scenario? So you don't have dominos?
Here we go again, I don't know how everyone keeps coming up with this "400 ton" plane yet character assasinate anyone who questions the events as kooks who don't know what they're talking about.
You're a kook who doesn't know what he's talking about.

If you're making a claim without evidence and then, when having evidence brought to you, dismissing it because it doesn't suit your political agenda. Then YES, you are being outrageous, and ridiculous, and most importantly unscientific. I don't think you are a terrorist, but I do think you might be heavily biased and possibly delusional. How can anyone trust anything you say if you ignore any evidence that goes against your personal beliefs?

fuck off (User was banned for this post ("Flamimg" - Novangel))
It looks like the steel support structure gave way due to intense damage taken by the god damn airplane and the resulting heat induced strength reduction. Take.
but mr. science man, whats that ooey gooey orange liquid flowing out of the facade?
Sparks. Those are sparks. [editline]14th September 2016[/editline] Which, in this case, if you didnt know, are glowing hot pieces of metallic debris. Its like wood embers but for metal.

Forgive me.
Here we go again, I don't know how everyone keeps coming up with this "400 ton" plane yet character assasinate anyone who questions the events as kooks who don't know what they're talking about.
Nobody in this thread making that argument has been "questioning the events", they haven't asked questions at all. They've come into the thread with their views already formed and simply told us it was a conspiracy, not asking us about it and not questioning it. There is no character assasination, if you go into a thread and start making outrageous claims without evidence, then people will call you a kook, because you are a kook.
Because commercial passenger jets are fucking heavy?
in that case, the WTC towers are very fucking strong, designed to withstand a plane impact (possibly multiple) of slightly less weight and speed. aswell as hurricanes.
I could have sworn a highrise was torched in Bosnia and collapsed.
It was what in Bosnia? Torched?
in that case, the WTC towers are very fucking strong, designed to withstand a plane impact (possibly multiple) of slightly less weight and speed. aswell as hurricanes.
No god damn shit they were strong, are you forgetting how massive they were?
Let us not tolerate any outrageous conspiracy theories! you are either with us or you are with the terrorists! Hey, I'm just curious. What does this look like to you?
Quite obviously, government agents pouring molten thermite all over the supports to make them melt and collapse. How could we have been so blind.
I post a video from 9/11 and ask a question about what I'm seeing. I'm so arrogant. Forgive me.
No you didn't ask just a question, you came in here with your views already set and ignored anyone who tried to engage with you. Be more respectful if you expect people to not treat you like an arrogant dickhead, because that's how you've acted.
The only real conspiracy that can hold ground is maybe the terrorist were paid off and trained. By who I don't think anyone will find out with the shitstorm in politics afterwards.
It looks like the steel support structure gave way due to intense damage taken by the god damn airplane and the resulting heat induced strength reduction. Take. A science class. Please.
If you watch the video at a point really close to the collapse, and go back to the beginning, it seems like the building was ever so subtly bulging outwards as well. When it collapses, you can even see the rest of the structure go as well. If anything, this video showed it collapsed like any building with hundreds of gallon of jet fuel burning inside of it should.
in that case, the WTC towers are very fucking strong, designed to withstand a plane impact (possibly multiple) of slightly less weight and speed. aswell as hurricanes.
Quick google search tells me each tower weighed approximately 500,000 tons. So no shit a 400 ton plane isnt going to knock it out immediately, just start the domino effect.
