The kid wasn't being detained, so it shouldn't have mattered what he said or that he rode away. The cops need to lose their jobs
don't worry they will get suspended with pay- surely justice has been done
exactly. there is no honour at all in being a cop since you willingly enforce corrupt laws
There is so much stupid How do you breathe
Welcome to America.
Yes, people totally don't abuse their power in other countries. More appropriately, it's "Welcome to a society that hasn't come up with a foolproof way of filtering out horrible cops."
If you think this is abuse, look at Russian cops. You will get beaten up for looking wrong at them.

Mistake? This was no mistake.
If you think this is abuse, look at Russian cops. You will get beaten up for looking wrong at them.
And you have to pay them protection money.
The worst part about situations like this, is that you can't fight back, you can't defend yourself against the police, even if you're innocent. Even while police taze, spray, and kick the shit out of you, if you fight back that only gives them more reason to attack you, call more Officers, and incriminate you even if you were trying to defend your life. If they don't like what you're saying, they'll abuse their power and threaten to detain you, or worse. It's disgusting, and it's dangerous. We live in a society where I'm scared shitless to talk to Police. Even though they're supposed to protect us and our rights, they have the power to strip them and abuse us. Someday, this is going to boil over, and people are going to get hurt.
It's an inherently corrupt institution. It's fucking disgusting that people romanticise it.
It's an inherently corrupt institution. It's fucking disgusting that people romanticise it.
I'm not trying to romanticise anything. Are all politicians groveling, money-loving sons-of-bitches manipulating the entire country to their own agendas? No. (Although not too far off.) Is the government perfect at maintaining citizen rights? Hell no. As to the same, the police aren't all 'beat your ass for the tiniest thing'. I don't know why you hate the police and everyone who tries to show they're not all shit, and i'm not going to try to go through lots of bullshit to try to convince you otherwise, but don't just paint every officer as a corrupt, donut-eating pig.
It's an inherently corrupt institution. It's fucking disgusting that people romanticise it.
Did a policeman touch your "special place" when you were a child? Because there's no other justifiable reason for you to hate the police so much.
Maybe he's a career criminal.
Did a policeman touch your "special place" when you were a child? Because there's no other justifiable reason for you to hate the police so much.
I don't like the police, but that's probably because most cops I've encountered are complete assholes on a power trip. Would help their image if they didn't hire rejects. [editline]1st July 2011[/editline] Cops outside major cities are fine though, or at least the few I've met are.
Did a policeman touch your "special place" when you were a child? Because there's no other justifiable reason for you to hate the police so much.
I wasn't taught to unconditionally trust people with badges and guns.
Why would you request backup for up to 20 police officers for something like this?
Ever seen an angry kid with down syndrome? scariest shit ever
Ever seen an angry kid with down syndrome? scariest shit ever
:byodood:
yet another case of american police abusing their power and assaulting a civilian without any justification at all i sure love the cops
yet another case of american police abusing their power and assaulting a civilian without any justification at all i sure love the cops
but this happens in other countries too!!
Did a policeman touch your "special place" when you were a child? Because there's no other justifiable reason for you to hate the police so much.
perhaps because most police officers are corrupt power-hungry meatbags that just sign up for the power trip? my opinion on the police is based on personal experience, not on the fact that they're good people just for being cops
Did a policeman touch your "special place" when you were a child? Because there's no other justifiable reason for you to hate the police so much.
He didn't say he hates cops he said he hates the policing organization as a whole while attributing the values of individual cops to the values (or lack thereof) of the organization unless they demonstrate otherwise He actually didn't say this but it's my opinion on the subject and I like speaking for other people
this thread: fuck the police america is stupid jdk for president kill all police anarchy rules!!!!
this thread: fuck the police america is stupid jdk for president kill all police anarchy rules!!!!
This thread absolutely does not have that many exclamation marks.
this thread: fuck the police america is stupid jdk for president kill all police anarchy rules!!!!
are we reading the same thread
"Back-up units were requested to Jesse's house, wherein upward of 20 police officers from different jurisdictions were present.
They taser and pepper spray the mentally handicaped kid and then they call for fucking backup. I wonder what kind of actions would they take during a bank robbery. Bazookas and army backup?
Devil's advocate for a minute, but the kid did run away after what most people would consider making fun of a cop. Everyone knows that thing where someone says "im <your name> and durrp de derrroppp" and mimicing retardation while drooling or some shit. If you're a cop and a kid does something like this to you, you're going to get pissed, especially if he runs away while you're yelling at him. Everything after that is just him being a shitty person, or overcome with rage at the kid (read: shitty person)
the cop knew he was disabled anyway though even the misunderstanding shouldn't have happened

Everything after that is just him being a shitty person, or overcome with rage at the kid (read: shitty person)
Although I do believe anyone might be a bit frustrated there's absolutely no fucking reason to be going around beating the shit out of a kid, pepper spraying him and tazing him and getting others to help. Police officers should be levelheaded showing his anger and grasping at the conclusion that someone's making fun of you instantly when you meet them and that gives you the right to beat the ever living shit out of him and abuse his rights means that he's not fit for police force. Granted although he was running away I can also say that the officer didn't even try to yell stop or tell him to get off the bike. Not only this, when a neighbour came out to try to halt the confrontation, the officer abused his power by telling him to get back inside or be detained and have an offence placed against you. Corruption on the police officers part is fine print, I hope the asshole gets kicked out of the force, they don't need hot-headed dumbfucks showing that this is what we place our trust in, because he certainly doesn't belong there.
I'm a bit worried about going into a complex partial seizure when a cop is asking me questions. What would happen is that I'd start acting a bit weird grabbing onto things and picking at my clothing, my speech gets mangled so I wouldn't be able to communicate, and I usually start running off in a random direction. I don't have any control of myself when I am having one of these episodes, and stress can be a big trigger so I'd be likely to have one. To the officer and other people, it likely wouldn't look like a seizure because complex partial seizures aren't at all obvious to people who don't know what they are. They'd just see that someone is acting really sketchy and perhaps is about to pull a weapon out with all his fumbling, and now he's trying to run away. I'd probably get tackled and wouldn't be able to put my hands behind my back, so I'd get rather brutal treatment for not complying.
What the fuck. Do you really need to maul someone just for that? This almost sounds like a joke in a movie.
