Well yes,it's pretty ironic. When britain went to war their policy's regarding people's social lives and other policies were total fascism. Also the Nazi's didn't start the war, the British PM did.
The Nazis didnt start invading countrys? I must have my History mixed up.
Uhm it sure is.
prove it
Waterboarding is a form of torture that consists of immobilizing the victim on his or her back with the head inclined downwards, and then pouring water over the face and into the breathing passages. By forced suffocation and inhalation of water, the subject experiences the sensation of drowning and is caused to believe they are about to die.[1] It is considered a form of torture by legal experts,[2][3] politicians, war veterans,[4][5] medical experts in the treatment of torture victims,[6][7] intelligence officials,[8] military judges,[9] and human rights organizations.[10][11]
In contrast to submerging the head face-forward in water, waterboarding precipitates an almost immediate gag reflex.[12] The technique does not inevitably cause lasting physical damage. It can cause extreme pain, dry drowning, damage to lungs, brain damage from oxygen deprivation, other physical injuries including broken bones due to struggling against restraints, lasting psychological damage or, if uninterrupted, death.[2] Adverse physical consequences can start manifesting months after the event; psychological effects can last for years.[6]
And don't start some "this is a biased source!" bullshit. See those numbers? They link to references. Here's the full article if you want to read up on the subject before spouting nonsense.

Obama can do no wrong, remember? He's black.
What if you were a suspected terrorist? Would that be okay?
What do I have to hide. They are going to have to sit through a few boring conversations.
Bush should be shot.
He had good intentions, he was just a dumbfuck.
What do I have to hide. They are going to have to sit through a few boring conversations.
If you really don't care if you're being observed then okay... I'd personally rather not, and I have the right.
Rights are created to protect the people from the goverment, and to keep the goverment from having too much power. People all just waiver it for "oh dear, I don't have anything to hide so let them spy me and make a file about me!". I don't want the goverment to know every intriciate detail about my life, pschychological state, where I go for eating and that kind of shit. Who says that the one managing these databanks aren't corrupt or using it for their own gain? You'll never read in on the news that's for sure.
That's a slippery slope argument. It went from monitoring for terrorist activities all the way to intricate details about your life, your psychological state, and where you like to eat. Who knows what they'll do if they gain the information that you like to go out to Denny's?
How is someone going to use information about your personal life for their gain anyway? People tend to be the same, and there really isn't a lot to gain from listening from random people's conversations. Also, anything that is brought to public attention is going to require evidence and of course people are going to ask where the evidence came from.
And again, why do people think that they would be wiretapping every home across America? I'm guessing the only reason for the wiretapping is that there are very sure someone is a terrorist, but don't have any hard evidence, and are not capable of getting and hard evidence without spying.

You certainly do. I'm not arguing that wiretapping is right, I'm just saying that it is justifiable in certain circumstances.

I'd rather not wait untill this goes WAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of hand and we can't do anything about it (E.G the people have been coaxed that wires all over the place are good for you). And you'd be surprised what they can get with everyday information. Things like routes you travel, mental stability, weaknesses and how my physical fitness is just by my example. I don't want and need the goverment telling me what games I should or shouldn't play (germany), what sites I can or can't watch (Australia) and other stuff.
A little Poem for you:
First they came for my teacher, but I didn't say anything.
Then they came for my neighbours, but I still didn't say anything.
Then they came for my familie, but I still didn't say anything.
Then they came for me, but as I wanted to say something, no one was around to listen.
A) War is never a total success. Is he a criminal for not doing a 100% super-duper job?
B) Do you? "Lol you dun kno what you talking about"

How so?
Sam, where the hell have you been the last 9 years.
No one bother with Sam Tilgan. It's blatantly obvious he can find no wrong with anyone on the conservative side. Bush broke the rules, and all for nothing(Except for possibly profits.) and yet many people are still hailing him as an american hero.
