Millions of photos of the universe released by NASA satelites

Its almost scary to imagine how much life there is in other galaxies.
Unless your a teen Christian.
I think you have that the wrong way round.
Comforting for others terrifying to teen christians cause they aren't as special as everyone tells them.
Well at least not special in the sense they want.
Not necessarily. If you're religious then you can sit back, safe and ignorant, thinking that the universe ends just past the sun and that there's some ethereal totalitarian being up there to save your ass no matter what happens. Knowing how big the universe really is is scary shit.
EDIT: Wait, that's exactly what you mean
I look at those and the only thing that comes into my mind: "Space, the final frontier..."
It is so awesome. I want to travel to those places :sigh:
Goddammit NASA, make a warp drive already so I can see one of these up close!
Warp drives are like worm holes.
Pipe dreams that require negative energy/matter so exotic it doesn't exist.
But we'll make it at some point.
Some of these would make great wallpapers.
Space makes me cum.
Just look at this.
I bet there's tons of planets in there with life. Maybe even intelligent life like us. Maybe they have their own video games, music, and porn!
Makes me realize just how insignificant we are, so many other galaxies out there.
Wish there were some HD videos or something of these, instead of just photos.
any shots of the Pegasus Irregular Galaxy?
Where can I download all of them ? :3
Space: ITS FUCKING CRAZY.

Holy Sagan. Just look at it.
Twice the size of our galaxy. Billions upon billions of stars, planets and moons full of life, stars constantly exploding, other stars being born, hundreds, even thousands of civilization with thousands of years of culture, art, their own bleeding military conflicts, epics, voyages of exploration, individuals exploring what lies beyond the reality they know in vehicles propelled by new laws of physics. The species that live and the species that die. Not just the ones that exist today, but the ones that existed and will exist. Billions, even trillions of sentients.
In that small disk carried along by the gravity of a billion others.

heh looks like you've been blinded by science
:aaaaa:

Rated artistic :unsmith:
Someone just give the fucking arts budget to NASA already, this stuff is way better than anything in a Gallery.

That's not what Christians think, at all.

honestly I think I'm about to just go atheist
and by the way, the picture of the andromeda galaxy really scares me. The way it's captured really gives you a sense of how far away, and how empty space really is.

Here you go - high res shots up to 6,666 x 6,666.

I love that all the specks of light behind it are more galaxies, farther away.

That's what she said.
Last I checked, that photo of Andromeda is preceded by many others. Pictures with a much more strikingly hellish infrared exposure have been around since Washington crossed the Delaware.

Beautiful, simply beautiful. What I would give to see such a sight with my own two eyes in real time, to see another galaxy so clearly from our own Earth. Billions of stars, each with their own planets and moons, with even more life possible on those worlds. From worlds that are so advanced that it would amaze the normal human, to worlds that have yet to figure out how to make buildings and fire. And there, they are looking at our Galaxy, wondering what life exists there while we are doing the same here. Makes people think.

you already can... just get a telescope and you can observe it in real-time... :/ and if you want to see it clearly just use a camera with a long exposure time
your attempt at an artistic commentary needs improvement

shutup
He said his own two eyes, implying using only his own two eyes.
