Labour is fucking all over the shop. They appeared the lesser of two clusterfucks for the brief election cycle but now they can't hide it. This is why I wish the Liberals weren't so hopeless.

were you in a coma during the snap election because the Tories literally promised to take the food out of children's mouths to fund grammar schools, i think that ranks worse than Labour trying to appeal for peace in a situation which is rapidly outgrowing a peaceful solution. their weird position on Brexit is also a point for concern but i'll note to you again that the Tories own plans are barely understood by their own cabinet.

Don't think for a second I'm saying the Tories were better. I voted for Camilla Beaven and Labour because they appeared pretty busted up, but not evil AND busted up. The remaining Tories in the cabinet are mostly the clueless few who buddied up to Theresa and a couple of suddenly U-turned yes men. But Labour are making a pretty poor showing with all this controversy that historic figures like Clement Attlee would roll in their graves at - so basically both parties are all over the place.
Any group of shit cunts and douchebags can take a decent or good ideology and shove it into the ground. And this is exactly what Maduro is doing. Socialism didn't cause this, corruption and ignorance of the needs of the people did this.

fair enough. i will grant that Labour post-snap election haven't been filling me with confidence. i can almost understand why Corbyn hasn't lifted a finger to oppose a Tory Brexit ("Look, i told you Corbyn hated Brexit, he hates British pride!") but as a man who apparently always sticks to his principles it's shitty that he let this rather large one slide.
british politics in general is all over the place at the moment, but i feel that, while Labour may not be a pillar of solidarity right now they are at least standing firmer than the supposed strong and stable government we have now :v:

Socialists worldwide had been, and still are, defending his actions. I know that ideology alone isn't the cause of the problems the country has been having, but the people who have silenced the cries of those struggling by falsely painting them as "right wing terrorists" are responsible for this crisis extending far longer than it should've. It has been a long, long time since the Venezuelan crisis crossed the line.

Oh im not excusing those guys. They seriously have their heads up their asses if they seriously think defending Maduro is "ok" because he's """Socialist""". Its beyond retardation.
people who defend Maduro are fake socialists and tools for totalitarianism.
Is this guy like a 12 year old facepunch communist, defending any country with a vaguely socialist government?
Now that's some classic Chompskian Cambodia-ass, ivory-tower-socialist bullshit
Because what your political allies say can often reflect a leader's own views?
You have to admit it's pretty suspicious for Corbyn to not have immediately hit back for what are pretty shitty views from someone in his own party.
Tabloids are at it worldwide looking for potential support from every single alledged socialist towards Maduro, with some french homologues dubbing the venezuelan regime "Mélenchoniste"
While the inquiry itself is good data, it's blatantly being led with the intent to smear fence sitters and people who had supported Maduro at any point before taking it back.
By any means do out the people who support this trash, but don't do it with the intent to catch every single socialist in the crossfire. T.not a socialist.
