For a less extreme example, Israel could stop calling the buildings that they are bombing. Currently Israel warns the people occupying a targeted building to get out and find cover. They could also stop using roof knocking techniques to scare civilians out of targeted buildings.
I robbed a bank but it's OK because I called ahead and let them know I was coming

Imagine someone from a different country came to your house and told you they are going to bomb it.

These aren't randomly targeted buildings, they hold rockets that Hamas/Islamic Jihad shoot off to injure and kill Israeli civilians. That's really not an accurate analogy.

Imagine that I'm holding rockets and other weapons making myself a legal military target.

How kind Israel is...

I can't wait for the nz police to start blowing up mongrel mob pads just because they commit crimes
I can't wait for the nz police to tell me they're gonna blow up my house because I smoke pot and have a few knives on the property

Then you get a few soldiers and confiscate it, rather than just dropping a bomb on it.
Svinnik is facepunch's resident Israel shill, just like Tudd is for Trump.
Then you get a few soldiers and confiscate it, rather than just dropping a bomb on it.
When it's deep in enemy territory, that isn't feasible.

<3
Israel does do plenty of things wrong ofc, for example the coalition that Bibi has gives too much power to the Haredi parties when they are very small parties and Israel needs to figure out its relationship with non Orthodox Judaism because at this rate, it's losing a lot of non Orthodox american Jews.
When it's deep in enemy territory, that isn't feasible.
Then how do you even confirm they've got rockets and guns if you can't even go there?

Not equivalent.

Israel has spies in Hamas but the spies can't actually do anything like that without exposing themselves as spies.
Israel has been fucking palestine for decades. People continue to defend them.
You guys should really watch the Documentation called anti semitism in Europe Its in german don't know if sub titles already exists.
really didnt expect FP to be pro-palestine lol
why are people assuming that our distaste for what israel did in this article means that we're pro-palestine/anti-israel
really didnt expect FP to be pro-palestine lol
Its almost like Israel has done ALOT of shitty things and terror groups in palestine has also done pretty shitty things.
really didnt expect FP to be pro-palestine lol
Anybody with a decent taste for human rights would be pro palestine
The issue is that some other people want you to think that being pro palestine, is being pro hamas or stabbing IDF soldiers.

All of the major parties on the Palestinian side support terrorism, it's not realistic to separate being pro terrorist and pro palestine.
All of the major parties on the Palestinian side support terrorism, it's not realistic to separate being pro terrorist and pro palestine.
Then it's equally unrealistic to separate Zionism from systematic oppression. Yes, Israel often goes above and beyond to soften the blow of the shitty things they commit. That doesn't excuse it.
its not an assumption, some people just make it really obvious
No, it's an assumption. I'm pro-Palestine insofar as "Stop evicting/bombing Palestinians, remove the justification for Hamas/Fatah's existence"
All of the major parties on the Palestinian side support terrorism, it's not realistic to separate being pro terrorist and pro palestine.
yeah and anyone who supports the existence of israel supports palestinian genocide
[editline]3rd July 2017[/editline]
really how disconnected from reality do you have to be to even think like that

Palestinian Legislative Council has 132 seats. Hamas is the majority with 74 seats. Fatah holds 45 seats. Fatah pays Palestinian terrorists a salary while they are in prison, supporting terrorism. After that is the PFLP which holds 3 seats. The PFLP pioneered armed aircraft hijacking and its last terror attack took place in 2015. After that is the DFLP which maintains a paramilitary wing and has a history of terror attacks. All of these parties are grouped together under the PLO. The rest are the PNI which has 2 seats, the third way which doesn't really exist anymore but holds 2 seats, and 4 independent seats.
Let's be really optimistic and assume all 4 independent seats never had any ties to terrorism, that makes 8 seats without any ties to terrorism out of 132 seats.
Don't call me disconnected from reality until you actually bother doing research.

To paraphrase you, it's more complicated than you're making it out to be.

nice research. sure shows me that we can't support the existence of a sovereign palestinian state or being sympathetic with the palestinian peoples without supporting terrorism
like you can't even comprehend the concept of being pro-palestine and supporting the current palestinian gov as two different things
pro-palestine? MUST BE A TERRORIST!!
you're literally a caricature
To paraphrase you, it's more complicated than you're making it out to be.
Sadly, a lot of Palestinian political parties cannot let go of terrorism as a tactic. In the post above you I went over and explained how each major Palestinian political party is connected to terrorism. I would love it if the Palestinians all agreed to drop their weapons and peacefully negotiate but that will never happen.

Who will run this hypothetical Palestinian government then? None of the pacifist parties have any support. If it's Hamas, we saw the results in Gaza, if it's the PLO, we're seeing the results now. There is no viable party out there that doesn't support terrorism.
I'm also sympathetic with the Palestinian people, people on the ground in the West Bank and Gaza are getting fucked over daily due to their governments and it's wrong. However, many Israelis are not willing to sacrifice their safety on empty promises.
I know it's easy for you sitting in America to judge but if a sovereign Palestinian state in the West Bank goes the way that Gaza did, it's likely that many Israeli civilians will die and a war will break out. No one wants that and none of the Palestinian parties today can guarantee that won't happen.
I'm not sure how solar panels can be used as a weapon though
You keep on saying this, and yet it's possibly the worst rebuttal to all the evidence other than the graph you shared recently
And you've done nothing to refute it other than "nuh uh".
Your suggestion that Israel is committing genocide on Palestinians just doesn't make sense. You've been proven wrong on this multiple times but you keep bringing it up like its fact.
Seriously, the Rwandan government was able to eliminate almost 1,000,000 people in 3 months. You think a Nuclear nation couldn't perform an exterminarion of similar size in 70 years?
Criticize Israel all day long, because they are absolutely worthy of criticism, but dont start crying "Genocide!" until Israel actually starts the process.
I'm not sure how solar panels can be used as a weapon though
I've already addressed that in the beginning of the thread. They didn't get permits, they built something, they are punished for it by having shit they built destroyed.

Maybe they should destRoy artesian wells whike they're at it, im sure there's plefty of those in Palestine that aren't permitted.

Artesian wells are harder to find.
I've already addressed that in the beginning of the thread. They didn't get permits, they built something, they are punished for it by having shit they built destroyed.
The source also mentions that permits are almost impossible for Palestinians to get. I don't get why they destroyed any solar panels. To send a message? Fuck you for trying to provide for your community without filing the proper paperwork.
You can't trick me into thinking you're anti-conflict if you defend the destruction of $400,000 worth of humanitarian aid towards Palestine because "oh they didn't have building permits." like it's nothing
