If you want to get rid of them, I'd advise you to light a fire and dump some gas on it. Give people a far brighter beacon to move towards and theocracy will begin to disappear into the shadows.
I personally advocate technocracy. Advancing human interests with government aimed to be well-advised and competent of reality. Technology. Medicine. Space exploration. Transhumanism.
why is the UK bending over backwards for muslims
This is a 3 week old article.
There were a newer article addressing the avalanche of anti-muslim shit recently.
You are being misinformed.
+ just a tid bit
When I was 13-16 I was a bigoted fuck, I like to think I have grown up since then. That kind of "bend over backward for _________" dogma is peddled by the worst "political" groups to manipulate the public into supporting their demented agenda. I don't wish to be offensive toward you in anyway, if you genuinely believe what you believe then so be it but look around at the facts at hand and be aware of bias in articles.
There was a thing about "MUSLIMS FORCING HALAL ON ENGLAND" when really it was a private company making a decision, to reach out to more customers, to serve halal. Yet they somehow blame it on the consumer.
How many muslim extremists are there preaching hate? How many EDL/BNP extremists are there preaching hate. You'll find less muslims I think.
Muslim ray guns.

Inspiring, but really that was a long way of saying dick all.

Well you have to take it as fact that the vast majority of people are simple. They need something simple for them to understand. Religion is simple. You follow directions and you get a reward. Dogs understand that sort of logic.
So you need to play the game where your long-term goal is to end it. You want to give people a banner they can gather under which will lead to there being less simple people. You want to reform education and advance technology and medicine. You want to support human colonization of other bodies. That's my take on things, anyway.

Aye cause building the ISS and landing on the moon changed all that?
Mate, it's the UK, we don't have third world education, you're way too idealistic to think that what, humanity will just sort of unite when we send people to Mars or the moon for a permanent colony.
Give it a generation and the problem will solve itself as folk who come here and have kids get exposed to wacky and weird ideas like gays are people too, and whipping cunts for coughing on the 2nd Sabbath at exactly 2PM is a pretty poor thing to do.

The kids are the ones turning to the extremist teachings. The problem won't solve itself. Just like violent street gangs, this is where kids find a place in the world. It won't just go away.
At Nansen, Year 6 children, aged 10 and 11, received no teaching at all in the arts, humanities or music.
And I'm sure most of them liked it. The only kids I can ever remember enjoying those forced 'cultural' classes were the ones who were already interested in the arts anyway. Everyone else loathed them and at best just put up with it.
What is with European countries and being fucking passive about Extremist teachings?
Like holy shit, muslims get away with the most hilarious shit in the UK. If I held a protest calling for deaths in the street, i'd be hauled away by the police, not given an escort.

the religion of no fun allowed
Man, I'd take this with a grain of salt. I'm saying this as an outsider to your country, I get the feeling that your media is trying to make it seem like "Islam is taking over your country from the inside out" I have seen so many stories that suggest there's some Islamist group trying to force their ways on you, for no apparent reason. I'm just giving my opinion based on what I've seen.

That's basically what people here (who aren't total goons anyway) are seeing too. The tabloids have little restriction on what they can publish if I recall. So they're having a field day with the heightened xenophobia thanks to the upcoming EU stuff, and some of it looks convincing enough for reputable news agencies like the BBC to accidentally get caught up in it all.
