Luckily it doesn't really matter much who's president these days. Unless they go back to signing 240+ executive orders a year rather than 20, it really doesn't
Just putting it out there, there's literally only two US presidents who have signed greater than 240 executive orders/year - Herbert Hoover and Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Donald Trump is one of the most repugnant human beings on the fucking planet.
What the hell does Trump think a sacrifice is? Sure if he spends money or 'sacrifices' employees for the good of business, that might be called a 'sacrifice', but is he really, really comparing his business decisions to family members risking and giving their life and limb in the military? Is he really putting business sacrifices on the same pedestal as your son dying for the US? Holy shit.
Do you have any idea how hard he has struggled to resist the urge to fuck his daughter? If that's not sacrifice, I don't know what is.
and claim I have never read the Constitution, (which is false)
That's a blatant lie given that he thought there were 12(+) articles in the Constitution.
[editline]31st July 2016[/editline]
Also how the fuck is it a national sacrifice on par with giving your life for your country to "create jobs"?
That's a blatant lie given that he thought there were 12(+) articles in the Constitution.
didnt a Trumpet try to defend him on that count using semantics? that was a fun read.
didnt a Trumpet try to defend him on that count using semantics? that was a fun read.
If they did, I missed the thread.
I know one guy tried to say he was talking about the Bill of Rights (which there are more than double of 12) but the context was clearly about the articles of the Constitution.
Imagine how bullshit our system is that these are our candidates.
Oh. We don't have to imagine it
I mean I like the fact that Trump's an outsider and not part of the political inner circle and just throws political correctness out the window. Those are two awesome qualities. But look what else it comes with my GOD. Then over here we have Hillary who honestly should walk out in a fireproof suit with sponsorship logos all over it so you can look and see 'Yep that's why she said that, It's on her shoulder'
Luckily it doesn't really matter much who's president these days. Unless they go back to signing 240+ executive orders a year rather than 20, it really doesn't
He appoints his entire cabinet and more or less controls international relations and opinions of the USA. How old were you through the Bush Presidency? It very well does have a massive effect on the nation.
If you think Trump is a racist you're more blind than you think I am
I am screaming with laughter right now.
If you think Trump is a racist you're more blind than you think I am
I'm just saying I feel his anger or message is misdirected.
This is the prime example of a Trump supporter
"nah he aint racist bro hes just playing bro like have a laugh bro haha"
Clearly a man that wants to ban 1.7 billion humans from the US has all the great intentions in mind.
This is the prime example of a Trump supporter

Do not underestimate the capacity for self-delusion many people have.

What the fuck? He literally just said a middle eastern wife was afraid of being beaten for talking when she was literally about to cry from seeing her son. You are blind as fuck.
Do you have any idea how hard he has struggled to resist the urge to fuck his daughter? If that's not sacrifice, I don't know what is.
How do we even know if he won the battle against that urge?
To think this orange toupeed specimen even had negative approval as a candidate from within his own party, now they support him for lack of any other candidates.
A combination of factors, and a lot of luck, all combined to push him into the Presidential race. Trump may be a sociopath, but he knew how to draw the public to him by appealing to the lowest common denominator of the population, as well as the truly desperate who (somehow) see their problems being solved if he gets elected. What they don't understand is they're being used for their votes and will be tossed aside like discarded dishrags once he gets into the Oval Office, and stand to suffer the most from any of his policies which might be implemented.
And that's to say nothing of the foreign policy damage or the catastrophic meddling he will cause by choosing likeminded SCOTUS Chief Justices, which will undo all the work the Democrats had done for it previously.
You mean people are not already tossed aside like discarded dishrags? Trump is playing the system just as hard as anyone else, everyone likes to hate on him (I don't like him myself) but I'm not blind. He is just as bad as all the other people running for office.
We can pull quotes left and right from all the candidates and they all say awful shit. We all know trump is a fucking retard, but lets not act like he is the only one saying awful shit.

Nobody's saying that all candidates haven't done awful shit or said awful shit, the point basically is that nobody's done it on the scale he has in recent memory.
theres no way hes going to win this. The donald is a winner not a looser so why is he doing something that will make him a looser?

Trump says the most awful shit though
[editline]31st July 2016[/editline]
and he MEANS them

He is the only one that consistently says awful shit and then doubles down on it. You have to be blind to think that any other candidate comes close to matching him in this regard.

Nobody says things as awful as Trump. Most people can recognize what they're not supposed to say -- Trump doesn't.
Here is her response via the Washington Post:
Donald Trump said I had nothing to say. I do. My son Humayun Khan, an Army captain, died 12 years ago in Iraq. He loved America, where we moved when he was 2 years old. He had volunteered to help his country, signing up for the ROTC at the University of Virginia. This was before the attack of Sept. 11, 2001. He didn’t have to do this, but he wanted to.
When Humayun was sent to Iraq, my husband and I worried about his safety. I had already been through one war, in Pakistan in 1965, when I was just a high school student. So I was very scared. You can sacrifice yourself, but you cannot take it that your kids will do this.
That was beautifully written and heartfelt. I think it speaks to us all - a mother's grief for her son, who died fighting for his country.
There's no come back from this. Ghazala Khan has just given Clinton even more ammunition to take out Trump. No matter what angle you look at this from, this is something Trump either has to backpedal from or double-down on - and he'll lose support from either.
When you go on stage to push a political agenda, you're fair game for rebuttal.
If I was trump I'd be mad too. He goes up to perpetuate the same story that the media democrats want to portray, that trump hates everyone but white males. He does so stating oversimplifications and while standing on his sons grave.
Securing the border with a wall and banning immigration from Muslim countries isn't racist nor is it against the constitution. Get over yourself Mr Khan
edit:
Their son is a hero, but maybe they forgot that he was killed by a Muslim fanatic, the same ones we don't want in the US
I hate this election
banning immigration from Muslim countries isn't racist
im pretty sure that it is
its only purpose is to deny a certain race entry. virtually almost all of the terrorists in america are homegrown anyways and the most dangerous ones arent even moslems
Hopefully he loses support over this for spitting in the face of veterans and those that gave their lives.
He already insulted veterans before, i really don't get why he gets support

Securing the border isn't racist, but banning Muslims from coming into the country as well as immigration from Muslim countries in general sure as hell is. Even if it isn't technically racist because Muslim is a religion and not a race, it's still bigoted and a really shitty thing to do.
And out of curiosity, how will this prevent the radicalization of homegrown terrorists? The guy who shot up the Pulse nightclub was an American citizen born and bred.

Nobody wants radicals to enter into the country, but you can't introduce measures that lead to the suffering of innocents who want to flee from war torn countries and try and seek a new life somewhere else free from the threat of terrorism. Also, barring some Minority Report style system of reading minds, you won't be able to weed out every determined crook from finding a way across the borders. Mass surveillance and data gathering cannot prevent every single terror attack from occurring. To stop terrorism, you have to make the ideology unattractive to the disenchanted.

No, it's common sense. How many more innocent people have to be murdered in Europe before you realize there is a problem?
When you go on stage to push a political agenda, you're fair game for rebuttal.
Oh sure you are. But are you telling me it's fair to accuse Mr Khan of threatening his wife, of not allowing her to speak, of being sexist? Where in whatever Mr Khan said gave you that idea? It's clear from this article that she's allowed to speak her mind whenever - she was just, you know, upset over how her son died for the country and constitution he believed in, and Trump wants to destroy that?
Get over yourself Mr Khan
Get over yourself, buddy. You really trying to tell a man who's son died fighting for his country that he's not being targeted by Trump? Trump even spat in the face of veterans with his McCain comment. It's quite evident he does hate Mexicans, Muslims and LGBT people, with the comments he's made and the manifesto of his party.
Looks like Trump has finally gotten stumped.
No, it's common sense. How many more innocent people have to be murdered in Europe before you realize there is a problem?
How many times do we have to tell you that blaming an entire minority for the actions of the few is, ya know, racist?
Considering you guys have taken in little to no refugees, despite helping cause the issues in the Middle East that lead to IS, you're really one to talk.
I'm sick and tired of being told Europe is overrun with refugees by people who've given into their hate and believe the sensationalist lies of the media - when they themselves are not gonna do anything about it!
You, like others, have completely missed the point of why he was on the stage that night.
I challenge any trump supporters who twisted everything trump says into something good to come to this thread, and twist trumps words into praise once more

So the solution is to tar all those who follow Islam (1.5 billion people, or a whole sixth of the world population) with the same brush that people like Trump want to use?
Or, don't also forget that the aim of terror groups is to foster enough bigotry and xenophobia that it leads to a situation of Muslims vs the world, and nothing would please them more if that happened.
