he's good, it's just a bit too cramped inside him right now I s'pose
Hopefully it will be as good as their early albums... not platic beach quality
I would love if it was styled after their first album and Demon Days. I think those two albums had the perfect tone and atmosphere.
There's been a lot of activity on their social media sites, so i sort of expected something like this...
But still awesome confirmation none the less. Demon Days graced my car's cd deck for about 5 years straight. :v:
She looks like Gon from Hunter x Hunter now, I wonder if that Japanese flag has any correlation.

If they can pull that off, it would be an insane return. I've got my heart set on the levels of Plastic Beach as of now and if they can surpass that I will be happily suprised.
I liked Plastic Beach better than their self-titled or Demon Days, mainly for this song

Was plastic beach really 5 years ago already? Jesus Christ...
Back in high school, during the days of Demon Days, Gorillaz was all we listened to, and will therefore always have a special place in my heart.
I remember back in primary school everyone listened to demon days, the TV music stations would play dare and feel good on repeat, then throw Dirty Harry on
All I remember was listening to feel good just about everyday, was such a great song
the future is coming on

I listened to Feel Good on the bus ride home from school literally every day, one ear bud in my ear, the other in a friends'.

I grew up on on Feel Good Inc, and I'm HYPED after my recent binge. OFC just have to mention Stylo, DARE, Dirty Harry, Clint Eastwood, 19-2000, El Manana, very recently Do Ya Thing.
Main thing I want to say is I've loved Gorillaz for so long Im so pumped to see what they are gonna do next
YYYYEEESSSSS
What is Gorillaz?
What is Gorillaz?
Maaan Gorillaz played a heavy roll in my child hood/teen/young adult years, pretty much all of it.
Without going into a lot of it, one of the things I've really appreciated from Gorillaz is how structured the albums are. The ups and downs along with the leadup to the ending of the album is always fantastic. The ending of Demon days was one of the best.

Listen to those in order, or go on Spotify and hit up the Demon Days album and listen through there. Much higher quality along with easy transition between songs. If you got a minute, it's a really fantastic experience.
Holy shit yes, I've loved Gorillaz ever since the moment I saw a clip of Feel Good Inc's music video on an album commercial. I was immediately captivated by the artwork and sound and I've never stopped loving them.
I was introduced to gorillaz on their first album through toonami back when i was in elementary/middle school
They played the music video for Clint Eastwood. Fell in love there and then
Demon Days was the album that got me into hip-hop in the first place and now it's by far my favorite genre of music.
Gorillaz is a legendary group and I'm hype as shit.
As fans on Reddit have pointed out, Hewlett’s freshly drawn images of Noodle and Murdoc appear to depict the characters at a younger age than they were during 2010’s Plastic Beach
Child-like in nature

I enjoyed Plastic Beach just as much as, if not more than Demon Days. In my eyes, more of Plastic Beach is welcome.
I will punch a baby to get more S-T/Demon Days style Gorillaz. Plastic Beach was nice but I wasn't feelin' it as much as their previous albums. Happy to hear more Gorillaz either way.
Yessssss!
Every song and album of the Gorillaz takes me back to a specific time and place in my life. They've been huge for me, I can't wait.
OMGOMGOMGOMGMG YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! I AM SO FUCKING HYPED!
I started listening to Gorillaz when I was in high school. Gorillaz helped me stay on my feet in a time of my life when i needed it the most. (I was depressed and stressed because of stuff).
Even now I sometimes listen to old albums when high, it brings back good memories.
I hope the new album will be as good as Plastic Beach, holy shit it was so good.
[editline]1st February 2015[/editline]
Noodle looks great, can't wait to see Russel though.
A moment of silence for the music video that'll never be finished

Oh yeeahhh
One of my all-time favorites? Making a comeback? I don't exactly feel anything besides worry for the quality of the upcoming album... Hope it maintains the crazy good vibe.
I remember buying their first album in primary school. Played the shit out of that thing so much that the case is wrecked and the CD is permanently damaged.
