"This is a flagrant violation of privacy," Lawrence's rep told E! News in a statement on Sunday. "The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence"

I like how there are constant Bing searches for "nude female model" right now.
I know everyone was joking around about this early in the thread, but I'm really genuinely astonished by how much this has blown up (on Facepunch that is). I was expecting it to end at like page 6 and to start dying at 2000 guests.
This is astoundingly pathetic. Goes to show that people only care about "internet privacy" when it affects them personally. Start offering people naked pictures of celebrities and their ethics go right out the window.
Yep, time to move all my data off iCloud just to be clear.
Do they really think they'll be able to get these images off the internet?

You're right, we are all terrible people thank you almighty God of Morals
Y'all realize that anyone eagerly jerking off to these pics loses the right to complain about the NSA now and forever, right?
Just a note, you cannot upload videos to iCloud so i am a bit sketchy on how he could have hacked their iCloud while you cannot do that. Unless its in a shared iCloud but thats a different story.

tbh it's not like it's some kind of hive-driven exploitation. there is a very small minority of people that don't give a shit and the other 99% is around for the free ride.
Yep, time to move all my data off iCloud just to be clear.
If these really come from an iCloud breach, that's not going to help you.

Except the fact that the NSA are supposed to "protect" us as a government entity and the people/person that did this is a hacker and will likely be prosecuted as such
Big difference
Y'all realize that anyone eagerly jerking off to these pics loses the right to complain about the NSA now and forever, right?
Because looking at leaked pictures is totally equivalent to a government agency invading your personal life. Just like a criminal shooting a man is equivalent to the police shooting a guy.

"H-hey... Fuck off, moral police! L-let me wank t-to these private, illegally-gained photos of a celebrity!"

I hope you don't pirate games, or anything for that matter
Someone needs to you know..Pack all these pictures up and save them into a zip.. For future..Reference.

The invasion of someone's personal privacy is the same regardless of who's doing it. If it's not wrong for you to disseminate private details about private citizens you don't really have a right to demand anyone else to hold themselves to higher moral standards. Doesn't matter if it's a guy in a basement, an intern at google, or a bored paper pusher at the NSA. That's hypocrisy.

Funny you should mention that, because I don't!
There's also a clear difference between pirating a game and leaking someone's private photographs.

there is already a torrent link somewhere between these nasty pages.
Also, yay, a discussion attempt!

I didn't do it though. And its not exactly their private life anymore considering its plastered across the internet. I feel bad for them true, but the hackers the one who invaded their privacy.
