I'm struggling to understand why it's necessary to point out that it was their decision to upload the images. Obviously it was their decision (probably, they might have been uploaded by the other party, i don't know), that doesn't suddenly mean they deserve a portion of the blame. Most people aren't going to think "okay, before i upload this i'd better research the potential vulnerabilities of this storage option and check for potential alternatives", they're going to think "i'm gonna use this service bundled with my device to share this picture". 99% of the general public barely understands how electricity works, let alone shit like this.

There's a pretty large gap between masturbating over stolen private pictures and sharing those pictures with someone you love. I don't know you're justifying equating the two.
