No, there isn't
it's not lingerie, it's not toys, and it's not safe
it never has been and I don't believe for a second that these multi-millionaires were gullible enough to believe that
Do you genuinely believe that invading privacy to steal personal images is on the exact same level as sending explicit images to someone you're in a relationship with? You don't see any moral dilemma there? What is wrong with you.
what an excellent way to completely dismiss it all as paranoia
this is why shit like this will NEVER stop
It is paranoia, considering this isn't something that happens every day. It's not "if you use the cloud, you WILL be hacked", it's "if you use cloud storage, you're more susceptible to intrustion". completely dismissing the technology because of insufficient security is a great way to seem like a paranoid neanderthal.
As a result of this garbage 4chan has been down 90% of the time for the past two days and it's makin me piss
Whoops.

Should see a doctor about that.
It's hot as fuck when the girl you're dating sends you some nudes.
Not understanding the concept of nudes is like not understanding the concept of lingerie. It's exciting, arousing and makes you feel wanted/desired by the girl/guy sending the pics.
It's also easy as hell to fuck someone over with them if your relation ends and grudges are held.
It's also easy as hell to fuck someone over with them if your relation ends and grudges are held.
Not everyone assumes anyone they get into a relationship with will backstab them the moment they look away. If you don't make enemies you won't have very many.
I personally do not leak nudes because fuck you, that is mine, I earned it.
Less talking! More leaking!

The main hub page doesn't load, but you can still access everything by going in through a board.

Don't know how old this is, just realized it was there.
Because people, especially women, love to feel sexy. What's a great way to feel sexy? Send an intimate picture to a significant other/FWB/Whatever that will love it. It's not that hard to understand.
People who rated this post dumb are really dumb themselves. Skolvikings is 100% right. Understanding this small part of women will take you a Long way.
What a sneaky attempt!
There's nothing like "undoubtedly" on 4chan, though. I really doubt what you've seen was her.
I saw a supposed Maisie Williams. If you find it and compare it to her Ice Bucket video, it's almost certainly real. I'm not assed about all this leaking but sharing nudes of a 17 year old is illegal where I come from.
I know people who are casual tech users at most and almost none of them use 'the cloud' of any type. I've actually suggested Dropbox to people and had them tell me no once they hear "you can upload your data..." because they don't trust anyone with their info. It's a common sense thing, not a tech thing. But when you see all the stupid stuff people get in trouble for posting on Facebook, Twitter, and the rest it's obvious that common sense is not always in play.
So I don't think it's unreasonable to expect even tech ignorant celebrities to refrain from doing that. There IS one possible reason this happens a lot to celebrities though. The more famous people usually have assistants or an entourage following them around. If Jennifer Lawrence's assistant is in charge of setting up her phone and sets up her iCloud account and all that for convenience, JL might just use the phone as is. As far as she knows her assistant took care of everything. Some of these celebs may not have known that these pics were being uploaded until it was too late.

Or, you know, you can just treat women like people.
No need to act like a redpiller.
Why's everyone banging on about iCloud? Some article said that this MIGHT originate from a hacked iCloud (without any proof or anything really to go on) and every other site mirrored the same article but with more finalist language (again, without any proof or anything really to go on). I mean I understand that it's fun to point fingers at Apple here, but until (and if ever) we find out where the leaks originated from, playing the blame game is a bit of a waste of time.

I notice you're using a Mac...
My question is this: with all of the "photo vault" type of applications out there, what's the excuse for having something so valuable in a regular photo album? Even my non-tech-savvy friends keep nudes they've received in there. Also, with something that sensitive, why wouldn't you delete them after sending? It's common sense.....

I notice you're from Australia...

At what point did he act like a redpiller?
Women do like to be made to feel sexy, imagine if you had a gf who wanted to send you nudes but you said no, she'd be like "what, am I not hot/sexy/beautiful enough for you" etc.

I don't know if iCloud is where these photos came from, but there was a big security issue that made bruteforcing Apple IDs possible, which was (conveniently) fixed yesterday. Could just be coincidence, but it's definitely one possible explanation for these leaks.

one thing I think might have had a hand in it is a lack of understanding how things like the service works
I personally haven't used iCloud, but have run into some odd things with other services such as Google Hangouts
for example when you send an image thru a hangout it isn't attached to the message itself
instead it is uploaded into a private Google+ Album that is accessible via the web for both members of the convo
accidentally found it and was surprised when images I have sent over two months ago are still available there
I feel like it should be the responsibility of the service provider to clearly outline things like that

I'm not saying that "women like feeling sexy" is false (people like feeling good about themselves, more at 11), but the way he presented it like it's a key to a succesful life and growing a 20 inch dick made me think of all these people on sites like r/redpill trying oh so hard to understand women that they end up manipulating them.
The fact that "women like it when they feel sexy" had to be pointed out and isn't just general knowledge that everyone should have if they spent more than 5 minutes with any other human being is what made me feel weird about his post.

[sp]did you just subtly call him a cunt?[/sp]
I feel like it should be the responsibility of the service provider to clearly outline things like that
I agree, but it's not always possible or even helpful. If you are running one of these services you need to make it as painless as possible to get people to use it. The more questions you force people to answer to create their iCloud account, the fewer people will bother with it. So it seems to me what happens is these services default to what they think most users will want. However, if you have special security concerns, such as if you're a celebrity, these settings are harmful not helpful.
Lol leave it to FP to ruin a thread like this.

It was ruined before it was posted.
People like Seano only enhanced it slightly.
looks like i won't be needing a girlfriend the next... 3 years
Did anything new get leaked while I was gone?
Why the fuck do people store pictures of them naked on the cloud and not expect them to be leaked? People should really realize that whenever you put anything, anywhere on the internet, it should automatically be assumed available to third parties.

They released a full folder of 600+ pics of various celebrities including a new jlaw vid. Go get it before it gets censored http://imgur.com/UUuIJNV
