I don't believe there will be any more images, if there even are anymore to be had. If they were going to be released, we would have seen them by now. Anyone who's saying "soon" or "tonight" is just spreading rumors.

If a porn stars images were leaked, would it be considered an invasion of privacy or piracy?
Invasion of piracy.
If a porn stars images were leaked, would it be considered an invasion of privacy or piracy?
it would be exactly the same as if anyone else had private photos of themselves leaked
it would be exactly the same as if anyone else had private photos of themselves leaked
...Which is happening everyday since the beginning of the internet without the medias giving a shit because it don't affects celebrities. Now most of them denounces the whole celeb leak while amplifying the problem by spreading the information outside of the internet circlejerks and exploiting it to get audience .

reddit's scrubbing fully clean (and even nuked a community that existed before Fappening): http://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/2foekf/rthefappening_has_been_banned/
Shattered. I don't really care about the pictures because the only two celebrities I knew anything about was JLaw and Kaley. But it was fun to see everyone shit themselves whenever something new was leaked. Guess it's for the best though, Reddit was probably the biggest source for finding the photos. It'll all die down soon enough now.

It clearly had to be done, but now what about the dozens of other subreddits about creepshots, nonconsensual nekeds of random people ( revenge porn, pics found on stolen devices etc ) , the ones showing people getting tortured, kids crushed after car accidents, the ones encouraging doxxing, racism... They are fine as long as they don't involve influent people ?

Spaceballs and deadkids need to get fucking nuked. If you look hard enough there's fucking beastiality and worse subreddits out there.
Spaceballs and deadkids need to get fucking nuked. If you look hard enough there's fucking beastiality and worse subreddits out there.
spam randnsfw and you will get dog fucking subs among others fairly quickly. reddit needs cleaning
Uh. They are fine as long as they don't involve influent people ?
That's always what it's like. The only reason legal action is happening in this case is because it spread so far and wide they cannot possibly ignore it. That's the only reason. So they don't get in shit for negligence (or whatever it would be). If there was more reason than that then yeah they'd deal with the smaller cases too and ones to do with non-famous people. But they don't cos they don't "have to". Same for why reddit closed that sub- too much mainstream controversy. But until things like creepshots, picsofdeadkids, etc gather mainstream controversy (as in, in "the real world") they're going to stay there. At least they took down /r/jailbait. At the same time though like is it actually illegal to put up pictures of dead people and stuff? I mean, if they're not actually breaking the law, Reddit don't really need to take them down. Obviously places like /r/redpill or ones encouraging racism and stuff are awful but they're not illegal. Jailbait and creepshots are of course illegal so they should be removed. But then if they start clamping down on the illegal reddits they might have to get rid of even things like /r/trees or /r/freemoviesonyoutube or ones to do with illegal software etc which would have crazy backlash. Idk if that stuff will happen though. They certainly won't go away until massive drama circulates them, regardless of legal standing. But to me one of the worst things about this one though is how quick everyone was to download and share and jerk it to these pictures with absolutely no consideration of the people who own them. It's fucking awful and pretty disgusting. I mean, I know weirdo on the internet has a crush on Jennifer Lawrence and has been jerking it to fantasies of her every night cos that's really all she is, some idealisation of the qt imperfect attainable girl cos she tripped on the steps that one time or sometimes is a bit awkward or something (its all a show lol), and not so much of a "real person". They see it as an opportunity rather than a crime. It's a genuine invasion of privacy. By sharing these photos you're perpetuating an invasion of privacy, probaby even committing the crime. And even if it's not illegal (which I'm pretty damn sure it is- sharing the photos I mean) it's still morally wrong. They're not for you, you're not meant to have seen them, you're not meant to fuckin rub your dick til your pathetic ass is satisfied for the next 9 hours. They're likely meant for their partner. It's the same thing as taking creepshots and stuff- it's taking and sharing photos that you don't have permission to have taken/share. Pisses me off how inconsiderate and disrespectful are. Not that it's surprising, though.
reddit admins made an announcement about whatever has been going on and yeah here is pretty much what i said just a bit earlier
Q: Why aren't you banning these other subreddits which contain deplorable content?! A: We remove what we're required to remove by law, and what violates any rules which we have set forth. Beyond that, we feel it is necessary to maintain as neutral a platform as possible, and to let the communities on reddit be represented by the actions of the people who participate in them. I believe the blog post speaks very well to this.
source
So as long as the subreddit content isn't illegal, its fine.
Never understod the hype about this leak. There is millions porn pics/videos on the internet but people get so fucking hyped about a bunch of meh looking actors
It's funny how quickly all this died down.
If you don't like looking at pictures of dead kids, don't look at pictures of dead kids.
4chan and reddit have had copyright shoved right up their arse on this one.
If you don't like looking at pictures of dead kids, don't look at pictures of dead kids.
It's not about that at all though? Don't you think it's questionable, to say the least, that people want to see and collect images of dead children? Don't you think that raises another question of whether or not there might be more to the person behind that than just looking at gore?
Funny how people post dead people on 4chan but as soon as a naked person with a name for themself pops up, the shit hits the fucking fan.
It's not about that at all though? Don't you think it's questionable, to say the least, that people want to see and collect images of dead children? Don't you think that raises another question of whether or not there might be more to the person behind that than just looking at gore?
Yeah I know that, I think it's fucking disgraceful, it gives me the chills. Fact is, Reddit aren't gonna change anything no matter how many people complain. They've always been about letting the community do what they want and they've said that again and again and again. It's obvious that they aren't going to do shit unless they get a law suit so the best thing you can do is just do your best to avoid the content that you don't like. That's why I said what I said - not defending the content, not being arrogant to people's views but accepting the fact that Reddit is Reddit and there's fuck all you and I can do about it.
