Funny, because Reddit has changed in the face of massive amounts of criticism in the past. They'll happily "censor" the place if it makes them look particularly bad to mass media. /r/creepshots straight up vanished because some external sites were reporting on it. Whether or not it stayed gone I don't know or care, but they did clean the place up a bit.
I had people in my class pull up the fappening on school computers lmfao
That was a hilarious week, my whole school was discussing the nudes.
rip the fappening, it was a good time
Yeah I know that, I think it's fucking disgraceful, it gives me the chills.

It's obvious that they aren't going to do shit unless they get a law suit so the best thing you can do is just do your best to avoid the content that you don't like.
That's why I said what I said - not defending the content, not being arrogant to people's views but accepting the fact that Reddit is Reddit and there's fuck all you and I can do about it.
Just get media on it and they'll shut it down like the hypocrites they are.

I don't go back to college until tomorrow, will be running an internal timer as to when it (Or something related to it, E.g security of this so called "cloud") is mentioned.

Stop posting the fucking pictures that's what this problem is all about
Some read:

It pretty much confirms what you guys said. They don't regulate their content based on how shocking, creepy, dangerous, intolerable it is. They only do some superficial cleaning of a subreddit or two when their image is getting massively soiled by popular media.
Basically, Reddit won't ever actually ban anything that's illegal or morally reprehensible unless the media talks about it.
Like the dog fucking subreddits. Those are still out there, and are still very illegal.
Plus, the admins are doing that weird thing that admins/mods do when they're on a power trip and respond sarcastically to valid complaints.

That's what in saying, it's likely they'll do jack shit unless another body gets involved.

Why do I get the feeling that this thread is going to be like the "fucked my boyfriend" thread, or that gross ass ingrown toenail thread. Stupid, and will never die. It's going to be on the popular list for eternity. Hooray.

Not trying to be insulting by the way, I've just seen quite a few cases of users even as old as me not knowing it existed - I'm guilty of it, I only learned of it a few months ago.
Wow, is this discussion still going on?
What did I miss?
