The company pulled the ad voluntarily, nobody attacked or threatened them in any way. It was pretty open-and-shut. The only "bickering" is coming from little threads like this one.

Voluntary or not, they put money into making it, thought is was a good idea, released it and then a bunch of pansies cried so they had to take it down to protect sales. Although how a company could make a mistake like this is rather strange. Also, how is my point foolish? Companies [B]are[/B] held to ridiculous standards. I dislike the idea that advertisement companies have teams of psychologists and message tweakers to make sure no one is offended and chooses not to buy the client's products. Of course it's inevitable, even if people were much less squeamish, companies would still do this to increase sales, so they're to blame too. Although that makes it sound like I think something needs to change. Which really isn't my point; things are pretty good how they are, I'm just saying that I personally prefer the recent emergence of companies that aren't afraid to have personality.
