Count me fucking lame but honestly I feel so shitty, this guy was my biggest inspiration. I always watched his animations and they were funny and made me happy. This passing of him has really killed me I can't comprehend the fact he is dead. He was such a funny guy but he put up a strong fight to cancer and it's amazing it was able to hold up for so long. He will be missed by everyone.

To be fair, the cancer more gave his body the ability to die. He died of a fever, though the cancer crippled his immune system to not be able to fight it.

Edd was one of my first inspirations for art.

Edd had lukemia, which is a cancer of the blood cells. Someone else in the thread said it has a 70% survival rate; I'm not sure if this is true.

I don't know if this is true of all leukemia, or maybe just his particular type. Cancer's such a borad term I wouldn't be surprised if there were different kinds of leukemia as well.

I have been watching his videos ever since I first heard about him back in 2008. When I heard he had cancer in 2011 he seemed to be taking it so well that everyone was confident that will go eventually go away.

Knowing the fact that Edd didn't beat cancer and that now he is gone actually made me tear up, I've never felt that way towards anyone that I have never met in person before.
