in fact, i bet if you got red and blue filters and put them ontop of eachother and put them into a pair of glasses with the lenses put out, it would block the green light

well it only makes sense that his 445nm laser goes through it, 445nm is about as far from ultraviolet light (which the mask is meant to block) as is visibly possible

A high- and low-pass filter in combination is a bandpass (except they overlap) and you actually want to get rid of the green spectral range, not transmit it. You better buy a simple band-stop filter for the green spectral range. Still, I'm sure the pirates won't be able to get some.
I came into this thread expecting a laser that would vaporize pirates.
I'm disappointed.
Now we just need a laser cannon set to disintigrate pirates.
