Why dont they just use some decent protection for the audience instead of that thin layer of plastic just encase the arena in bullet proof glass or something then let the robots beat the shit out of each other with ranged weapons firework rocket launchers and electrified harpoon guns and for some reason flamethrowers even though they dont do shit to a robot unless its specifically made to burn up. and even then we wouldn't have to panic and send in the fire crew if they had decent protection..just let it burn

it was perspex/plexiglass which was the most costeffective protection they could afford.

I just hope the Arena doesnt allow Flippers to be so prevalent. Like, make it so robots arent flipped out the Arena. Or, i dunno... Ban Flippers for a while?

flamethrowers would already overheat and melt the plastic casing on the inside of a robot, since not all robots have coverall protection. i mean obviously diotoir comes to mind but we all know diotoir was the mascot of robot wars outside of sir killalot
