So wait, he has done this before and only got 18 months for it?
What the fuck is up with his face.
The judge said Gunstone had raped the woman just two weeks after his jail licence had expired for a previous sex attack which had 'spine chilling' similarities to this attack.
So now that it's obvious that he won't stop, you only give him 18 months?
Shit, he's practically INSANE. Honestly, he has no common sense if he's just gonna rape someone on the side of the road. As for the motorists, they are just as bad because not one of them pulled over to kick his ass. If I was driving past, which is impossible since I don't drive, and I saw that scene, i'd slam on the brakes, walk over to the bastard whilst rolling up my sleeves, and yell "OIOI, got a death wish mate?!" as I crack my knuckles. This'd all be for intimidation, mind you, i'd only start tenderising him (with my fists) if he didn't stop even then. Seriously, there are times when apathy is ok, but THIS was not one of them.
The most disgusting part about this is that nobody stopped to help.
it's bystander apathy, everyone assumes that someone else will help. see: the genovese case. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bystander_effect it doesn't mean everyone that kept driving was an awful person. it's still incredibly sad, but don't make that generalization. there's no need for a "oh god fuck people they're so terrible they didn't even help" reaction. the rapist, however, should get his ass thrown in jail indefinitely.
i think this guy was in hey arnold!
?
30 year old with a boyfriend for 8 years, still a virgin? hahahahahahahahaha

Sure it's easy enough to plan out when you're mentally calm, but try pulling that off when he actually fights back and both of you are filled to the brim with adrenaline doing desperate, untrained punches.
Even when the person is almost unquestionably in the wrong, it irks me when newspapers use words like 'brute' to describe people. It just reeks of crappy emotionally biased reporting. Also, on the note of the people not helping, it's perfectly likely that there were only individuals in the car who were just afriad to confront the guy. It's still a bad thing that they didn't try and help her, but it's not like they just thought 'oh look a rape, I can't be bothered to go and help.'
Imagine being that one guy who could have prevented this wrong-doing and been mentioned on the news as a hero. But nobody had the balls to do anything. What a shame.
Hey she was a virgin and also a virgin hey did we mention that she was a virgin
Imagine being that one guy who could have prevented this wrong-doing and been mentioned on the news as a hero. But nobody had the balls to do anything. What a shame.
Most people don't want to do anything, which shameful of our society. They're either scared or fear for their own safety. I see Concealed Carry as a good thing for many citizens to have, but very frightful for it as well for those that get it into the wrong hands, and you know it will. In any case, shout around you to get people to notice and possibly help you to apprehend them.
The most disgusting part about this is that nobody stopped to help.
Would you really have had to balls to stop? What would you do next? Fight him? [editline]18th March 2011[/editline] Nothing moves the blob
He said after the most recent attack, Gunstone told police he saw the woman, who was a stranger, and asked her if she wanted to have sex - and she agreed to it there and then on the pavement.
Oh in that case you're free to go
lol, shoulda had a gun ohwait
30 year old virgin the movie
[img_thumb]http://www.oocities.org/helga_mdt/Harold.jpg[/img_thumb] ?
His ears on his cheeks there bothers me to no end
He is one ugly fuck..
I was going to write that her bf should be walking her home late at night, except that guy looks like he'd probably rape the bf too if he was there.

It was dark out, a lot of it happened in alleyways and looked like a fight between a couple, and not like a rape/murder, and any screams or anything weren't heard due to the fact that it was frigid outside and the windows were all closed. It's not really a good example and people need to stop using it. [editline]20th March 2011[/editline] And this is the exact same goddamned case as Kitty Genovese. The setting: Midnight. It's fucking dark. Details can't be made out. There's an ugly brute, who goes and rapes a woman, so it's dark out. Maybe some cars pass by. But it's midnight, and it's a town square kind of thing. Who's to say that mass couldn't have been a homeless man, or those two people weren't just a frisky couple. This is the exact same thing as Kitty Genovese and while it's terrible, it isn't an indication of A. the bystander effect or B. the depths of the human condition.
Why the fuck won't anyone stop to help her?
Am I the only one who sees it as relevant that she is a virgin? I am in complete agreement that rape is always a horrible, horrible thing. However, it's not always equally a bad thing, as cruel as seems it is to say. If we a twelve-year-old girl and a 40-year-old hooker are both raped, can you really say that it is going to cause an equal amount of distress in both? It is in both cases an extremely horrible thing, however. Of course the man had no way of knowing she was a virgin, however, but it is still one more offense to the poor woman.

I'm wondering if, to a passing motorist, it even looked like rape? It's easy to say that someone should have stopped to help but if I saw people having sex in public from my car and had no reason to believe it was rape, I'd just think "hoo boy" and move on.

And he had a knife so the poor woman just had to take it. If she started screaming or something the guy could of killed her, that's probably what she was worried about.
