....I don't give a shit.
Tomorrow, the supposed super moon will come. Preparing to dine in hell. Too much end of the world bullshit around. sigh.
I wanna make a huge bet with that astrologer.

How the hell can the moon hurt us? Is it just a piece of cheese, do you guys know nothing?
How the hell can the moon hurt us? Is it just a piece of cheese, do you guys know nothing?
wow and no, nothing will happen something cool might, like a higher than usual tide but thats it
It gets this close in orbit pretty damned often, it just happens that this time it isn't in the shadow of the earth (Y'know, like any other full moon). Only difference is that this time for the first time in a while it's lit and close at the same time. In other words nothing can possibly be influenced by this. Just get that guy to shrink it again, that should solve it.
We already had two supermoons, so no world ending.
The tide on that side of the planet will be higher. On the other side it will be lower. Nothing will happen. [editline]18th March 2011[/editline]
As Canary said, a lunar eclipse would be the Earth's shadow covering the moon. That actually happened not so long ago. Unless of course the Earth is actually flat and could cast a shadow like this: [img_thumb]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_htNVOriER94/S8OVHw0rzZI/AAAAAAAABpM/uEqEpI5JUfk/s1600/half_moon.jpg[/img_thumb]
That happens quite a lot. The planet is obviously flat.
The tide on that side of the planet will be higher. On the other side it will be lower. Nothing will happen.
I wouldn't be surprised if the moon had some long term cyclic effects on the earth's crust from pulling in and out on the tides over millions of years, though.
You know whats funny? The last time this "super moon" appeared was 1993, my birth year. And now when i'm turning 18 on 19 march ( adult here ) it appears. Coincidence?
It looks pretty big already.

I can't wait to hear the next possible doomsday theory!

Well my question is: did anything of the sorts happen 18yrs ago when we had our last super moon? If not why worry about it then? *prepares camera and tripod* :keke:
Wow, it's really world ending apocolayse today. Someone is mowing the lawn and stuff, pretty wild fine weather out there. :p
I hope nothing happens, I won't have a 16 birthday on the 20th then. I really wanted to be legally able to drive.
17 minutes in so far. It's getting bad, I had to sacrifice a baby to the great astrologer thingy which will grant me safety. I also lost a leg to gingivitis and had to eat grass. I am hiding in a tree for safety as the great tree spirit will protect me from the moon.
19 minutes in for me, Michael Bay has blown up half of my house and is ripping is way towards America.
1 hour 30 minutes. The ground is liquefying and breaking up and the fabric of space itself is being torn apart. I may not survive much longer. Godspeed.
Just reporting in from the future, 3:50pm of the 19th, and no new natural disasters yet. [editline]19th March 2011[/editline]
You know whats funny? My cat is meowing an awful lot, and she usually never does.. unless shes starving and shes defiantly not.

6:10 pm should go ahead and see this. Too bad my webcam and pc isn't close enough to the door. Dumb enough that I'm right.
