Tomorrow is the date of the Supermoon!
The world leaders can create tsunami's and hurricanes, so they can just blame it on stupid shit like the moon.
Well it's been the 19th of March here for about 19.41hrs and so far nothing has happened.
Same.
Tomorrow is the date of the Supermoon!
Oh fuck we're gonna die
This ought to be cool. Doesn't look big right now, but it's only 2 AM, so I guess it'll be super tonight. I don't think anything will happen but I'm glad this thread was here or else I probably wouldn't have known about it, so now I can maybe call up some friends if it'll actually be big. I wanna see this
Wait, does the moon get super big later tonight (it's 6:26 AM here in Providence) or what? I really hope I don't miss this, I missed the lunar eclipse thanks to overcast :(
Suppose to see the moon tonight, i think, fucking clouds and rain.
9:48PM here, moon looks slightly larger. But only slightly. I'd stay up if it weren't for this fucking headache so I'm going to bed.
Oh no! The moon just killed another true seeker!
Way too cloudy here.
Still no Natural disasters! Maybe just more tide! [editline]19th March 2011[/editline]
9:48PM here, moon looks slightly larger. But only slightly. I missed it last night because i was working, then sleeping This is now a moon pictures thread, please
I hope something happens that kills all humans, leaving every animal intact. I'm not even being ironic right now.
You know a news story is most likely to be completely bullshit if the headline ends in a question mark.
I hope something happens that kills all humans, leaving every animal intact. I'm not even being ironic right now.
Cheer up!
I hope something happens that kills all humans, leaving every animal intact. I'm not even being ironic right now.
Get some therapy bro Anyway this story is bullshit. Some jackasses are looking to get their name into the news by taking advantage of the japan situation, its pathetic.
Just as I sat down to watch it the dipshit next door started playing "Love Shack" obscenely loud.
I'm a werewolf rapist
Are you a werewolf who rapes or someone who rapes werewolves?
I missed it last night because i was working, then sleeping This is now a moon pictures thread, please
It didn't happen on the 18th, it's happening right now(or tonight if you live overseas).
A 2.8 magnitude earthquake happened here which hasn't happened in a while. Yeah we are pretty much dead.
No natural disasters in Karlshamn, Sweden.
As if anyone is surprised that nothing will happen. Doomsday predictions are a load of crap any way.
I don't think that 'nothing' will happen, but rather the effects are so small that we might not just notice it. Like higher tide or something like that.
It didn't happen on the 18th, it's happening right now(or tonight if you live overseas).
Ah, i see. Goodie. Yeah i thought it was last night (start of the 19th) instead of tonight (night of the 19th)
As if anyone is surprised that nothing will happen. Does anyone know the position of the moon as of right now?
Does anyone know the position of the moon as of right now?
I would honestly tell you but right now the moon is hiding behind clouds like it has been all night for me. :(
No I mean over what part of the world it is [editline]19th March 2011[/editline] Also this article on wikipedia says the last super moon was in januari last year http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supermoon So apparently this phenomenon isn't all that rare. [editline]19th March 2011[/editline] And disasters "linked" to the events are days before or after...
Next supermoon is November 14, 2016
Hm. It's suspiciously sunny. I rarely see it this bright when it's sunny. MUST BE THE SUPER MOON.
Are we dead yet?
