Drinking a full glass of water before you sleep after drinking helps a lot, too.
the more you know
Do your asparagus a favor and either steam, fry, or roast it if you are going to eat it. Boiling turns it into a six-inch booger.
Exactly this. Pan-fry that shit in butter or olive oil and throw some garlic, parmesan, black pepper, and sea-salt on it.
If you think asparagus tastes bad, you haven't had it cooked right.

Because all older people drink and young people don't drink or don't understand what it's like to drink yet.
Okay then.

just cause you don't drink doesn't mean you should push around the idea to people who enjoy drinking for the fun of it with the minor consequence of hangovers
tis all, people drink because they find it fun so 'don't drink' isn't really an answer especially when talking about moderate quantities like this
except if you drink to the point where you expect a hangover the next day you're obviously not having fun and more alcohol will just make things worse
maybe I'm a pessimist but everything should be enjoyed in moderation
fuck that let's get drunk to the point of not knowing where we even are
I usually take a painkiller before bed on top of that, seems to work well if I get so drunk I can't be bothered to get more water than I already in my drunken proximity.
It's generally not advised to take painkillers if you've been drinking since then your liver is filtering out alcohol, and whatever you just took. Just drink water. Funnily enough all of the symptoms of a hangover are the same as being dehydrated, and alcohol makes you dehydrated.
yeah, a pint of water just before bed will solve most of your problems the next morning

Begone, you wretched asparagus sympathizer.
fuck that let's get drunk to the point of not knowing where we even are
I've once been so drunk I didn't know how I got home.
And that was 30 kilometers away from the party.
AND I've apparently driven my own car home, since no-one knew how I've gotten home.
That was the time I decided NOT to party so damn hard.

Excuse me, you can be social without drinking.
seriously wtf are you smoking
i get so drunk at parties that i die everytime
this method has not failed me yet
i usually just eat a fatty kebab and drink lots of water. haven't had a hangover in a long time.
Excuse me, you can be social without drinking.

Yeah but people don't realize you can be social while drinking
some people here have like a heavy thing against getting wasted i guess lol
The ultimate hangover cure, as I've learned very recently after being out on the lash every night since last Friday, is to drink more.
Hell I'm just home (roughly 1:45am here in the UK) and I'm still drunk now, and I feel fantastic.
I usually take a painkiller before bed on top of that, seems to work well if I get so drunk I can't be bothered to get more water than I already in my drunken proximity.
I realise it's only one painkiller, so it shouldn't really matter, but it's usually a very good idea not to take things like painkillers or a lot of other kinds of medications or supplements if you're drinking. Alcohol already puts a fair bit of pressure on your kidneys and its never a good thing to strain them any further.
My advice: drink on a full, greasy stomach and drink plenty of water throughout the night. That should almost be guaranteed to stave off a hangover.
On the note of the subject matter, my granny made a little bacon-wrapped asparagus side dish for dinner when she came to visit recently. Was absolutely amazing (I've never really eaten asparagus before because the taste was fairly off-putting alone, but together with bacon it was great). I'd definitely considering nibbling on some of that before drinking. You get some greasiness from the bacon, plus the benefits of the asparagus. Double win!
What sort of dull-ass fucking parties are you going to where getting bombed out of your mind is the only way to get any fun out of it?
You realise you can be hung over WITHOUT getting totally hammered, right? I've had plenty of nights where I've only been moderately tipsy/mildly drunk and yet I've had a hangover the next day because I'm dehydrated and I was drinking on an empty stomach the night before.

Oh, and as a Scot I'll share with you all the best hangover cure ever.
A bottle of Irn-Bru, an a deep fried Mars Bar. Healthy? God no. But does it help? Oh fuck yes it does. Hell, Irn-Bru ALONE has hangover curing effects. If I'm not mistaken, there's a section on the wikipedia article of Irn-Bru explaining exactly why that is if you're interested in reading up on it.
Did anyone else read Aspergers at first instead of Asparagus?
