Judging by your posts, it sounds like your school systems can't afford teachers, much less security.
Actually we can afford teachers, and good ones at that, without having to pay for overpriced private schools, since we have more than decent public schools.
And we could afford security, it's just that we don't need it. I've been to the same school for 2 years, we're around 2000 students there without security of any kind, and there's never been a single incident.
I don't think pressuring your students by making your college a school equivalent of a police state accomplishes anything; but as far as I remember columbine didn't happen in france.

Where was this implied? Security does not act unless there is a disturbance on campus. They don't oppress students, that isn't their job.
If there was a disturbance at your school, what would you do?
In fact, columbine was the reason so many schools have security nowadays, so what you are saying is that columbine happened because of a problem that didn't exist at the time of its occurrence.
I don't know of a single college or university in the U.S. that doesn't have at least a few security guards on campus. It makes perfect sense to me, especially when some colleges are pretty far away from the local town/city's police station.
I'm surprised nobody's question why he was naked with a bunch of monkeys yet.
Why WOULDN'T he be naked?

Universities are like towns, towns have police forces to help keep order, universities have police to do the same, I don't see what the problem is. Are you suggesting that because it's not a city, there's no need for cops? Does this mean small towns don't need cops either? Like someone else mentioned, many campuses have their own security personnel because they're so large they rival the size of the town they're in. If they didn't, the burden would fall on the local police department who would need to hire more personnel to cover the extra area. I like how you also brought up columbine, as if it's in any way relevant to law enforcement on campus. Hell if anything, it implies that there weren't enough guards on campus.
I've been to 2 schools, 1 college and 2 universitIes which have all had some form of security or police. It's not a rare thing you know. In Educational institutes a policeman is a good deterrent against outside influences (read pedos, creeps, druggies/dealers ect), not just what's going on inside with students.
Sounds like something that would happen on space station 13.
You know how big colleges are, right
They're like small towns
Yeah, my college is like 40K people, that's the size of my hometown
Drunk monkeys sound awesome until they fit into a drunken rage.
Would you rather, campus security?
My campus has no security at all. Then again it's the science campus so the majority consists of scrawny pale nerds who can just pick up their laptop.
Oh, Chimpanzee that!
MONKEY NEWS!
There was this monkey right, and a lab worker was his mate...
I took it upon me to recreate this incident to every detail:

That actually happened to me in space station 13 once
I was testing a drug and while I was knocked out someone turned my colleague into a monkey
I mean, this is kind of odd, but they didn't have to go so ape shit over it..
At least it will make a hilarious story
