I care about them because they're superbly rich and will use that wealth to buy influence and consolidate further money into their coffers. Their opinions are worth more than others strictly because of their family name/inheritance they have more influence on politics and decision making than their fare share. Nobody should be so fabulously wealthy, it doesn't help anybody, once all resources and decision making is consolidated into a small, elite, unelected group you are no longer in a meritocracy or a democracy. Being jewish is nothing to do with any of this, I have the same attitude towards any such inherited wealth and IMO you might be inadvertently using the whole "thats racist/sexist/antisemetic" thing to avoid critical discussion on the matter.

Their name is almost synonymous with conspiracy theory. And being Jewish is a core part of all those theories, stemming from decades, possibly centuries, of anti-semitism in Europe preceding their wealth.

People here aren't saying "jewish conspiracy to rule to the world" they're saying rothschild did shady stuff to get rich or in my case are criticising the family for using its money to get unfair advantage over others. As an example of a similar issue. There were a gang of paedophiles in the UK, they were muslims (not sure if practising) of pakistani decent. The police didn't heed warnings from people who reported them because they dismissed it as just a bit of racism, as a result over 1000 kids were apparently abused. You can be politically correct without having to actively avoid criticising people who happen to be members of a minority group. It's obviously retarded to say "Muslims are rapist paedophiles" but someone being a muslim shouldn't stop someone saying (with proof) "that man is a rapist paedophile". I'm 100% against profiling and racism but its a fact that Rothchilds are super rich, they use that money to buy influence (others are claiming its a fact that rothchild family have done dubious things in the past to make money), its not saying Jewish people do bla its saying the Rothchilds do bla. I wonder what it's even like to be a child in one of those families. Where do you go learn? Who do you play with? Do you ever get bored of having everything right from birth?
