The stainless steel body coupled with a 1980s Chevy 4 cylinder engine made for very poor performance.

But these new ones have an aluminum V6 engine, which would be better tuned and provide a lot more horsepower and better power to weight ratio.

I took a tour of Universal Studios and the DeLorean was on display with some other cars from other movies. They even showed us the set for Hill Valley.
