!0 years? you get less for rape.
Especially for only
a few minutes when it began crying.
Obviously, it's not good, but in comparison to the sentences of other crimes.. Must be the whole silly 'the children are sacred' thing.
!0 years? you get less for rape.
Both parents are known with histories of child abuse. This isn't their first time.
Putting a child in a freezer isn't normal but on meth it is
talk about an excessive sentence arizona :frog:
talk about an excessive sentence arizona :frog:
Excessive? Putting someone in a freezer to die while high on meth is quite a crime.
Excessive? Putting someone in a freezer to die while high on meth is quite a crime.
who says he put him in there to die. he removed him a few minutes after. and I'm not saying it isn't a crime, but 10 years imprisonment for it is excessive
Excessive? Putting someone in a freezer to die while high on meth is quite a crime.
wow the kid didn't die it was in there for a couple minutes until it started crying and then the guy let it out I'm with jdk on this one of course it's a terrible thing to do but 10 years in prison is pretty fucking excessive
Excessive? Putting someone in a freezer to die while high on meth is quite a crime.
Mandatory rehab and keeping him away from the kid until he is clean would be more suitable, and would actually have the beneficial side effect of getting somebody off meth. Tossing him in prison won't do anyone any good, the kid will grow up without a father and this guy will probably go right back to drugs after he's out of prison since nobody will want to hire him.
That's how our "justice" works.
and that's not a good thing and you shouldn't keep doing it. Why the fuck is that an acceptable realization to you?
That's how our "justice" works.
The quotes there mean it isn't just and that you need to stop supporting it
The quotes there mean it isn't just and that you need to stop supporting it
I don't support it, but screaming on the internet how I hate it changes nothing.
I never quite got the American justice system. They should be like us the Canadians who use prisons to change peoples life's not just a place to hold them. I mean here you may get out in less than 10 years for murder but most people who do end up living a normal life after that. Of course some people won't ever change. That's why maximum security prisons exist.
the american justice system doesn't incorporate rehabilitation into its routine
' he put the boy on the bottom shelf of his freezer and closed the door because the kitchen floor was too dirty. ' I'm so confused.
Clearly, you've never tried meth.
Meth addict puts kid in...
REFRIDGERATOR
Freezer
fuck
the american justice system doesn't incorporate rehabilitation into its routine
The American justice system uses punishment more than rehabilitation. Not saying that that's better. It's not. Just pointing out fact.
Excessive? Putting someone in a freezer to die while high on meth is quite a crime.
He didn't put him in there to die. He put him in there because the floor was too dirty. :v:

Good thing I don't plan on doing drugs, unless you call the computer a drug of some sort.
Good thing I don't plan on doing drugs, unless you call the computer a drug of some sort.
Computers can cause your children to starve
don't really get why people are so against imprisonment here like in this case for 10 years, agreed it's a long time but what else would you suggest? there's so much people altogether and there are so much people doing more or less violent crimes and prison keeps them off the streets, I think it's a good solution to start with at least.. ehm, we've been doing it for as long as I can remember anyway, and it hasn't stopped people from doing crimes, let alone rehab. Edit Also about "justice" we don't have any real justice, we just have a whole lot of variations of it. Same crime, different place, different punishment. :colbert: Justice is a matter of geography.
I never quite got the American justice system. They should be like us the Canadians who use prisons to change peoples life's not just a place to hold them.
Are you kidding? Our prisons are just as bad as American ones. The conservatives are always banging on about "TUFF ON CRIME LOL" and just packing more and more people into shitty prisons that don't do anyone any good
This guy just needs to chill out.
This guy just needs to chill out.
Should he also smoke some pot while at it?
Looks like that dad gave his son the cold shoulder.
