Yeah, alright...

To be fair I was referencing Smallville, but whatever. Besides, Tiberium came from an alien spaceship, not meteors if I recall.

Yeah, alright...
Idiot, they said the entire damn asteroid wouldn't hit the Earth, they said nothing about meteorites coming down.

Whose to say these didn't come from an alien space ship? HUH!?
Are there better sources, RT is good and all, but not other major news sites are running the story..
Meteorites aren't that uncommon. It's just that we don't inhabit every corner of the Earth (In fact, we humans actually live on about 3% of Earth), so we can't really expect too see every meteor. These two (the Russian one and this one) are just coincidences...
thats what they want you to think
First Russia and now Cuba
NATO has harnessed the power of meteor strikes!

Okay, I've been searching this stuff for an hour now, I'm fairly certain it's a hoax. Or at the very least, a major bit of misinformation.
The only images and videos I've been able to find are from the Russian impact. I've found no actual eyewitness testimony - the closest I've been able to find are "guy who's uncle's cousin is in Cuba and said it happened" and "news sites reporting a local TV station heard from local witnesses".
Not only that, but the dates are getting jumbled. Some are saying today. Others are saying it happened Wednesday, and we're only just now finding out about it. That's vaguely possible, since Cuba has a pretty tightly controlled media and limited web access, but still unlikely. The impact of any meteor of scale would likely be noticed by others - the trail of the Russian meteor was picked up by weather satellites. The science world would have noticed a hot, linear cloud that appeared instantly and disappeared rapidly, and I've seen no such indications.
But most of all, the timing doesn't seem plausible. One meteor having a close miss, another hitting over Russia, then another hitting Cuba? The miss and the Russian one are definitely unrelated meteors, by the way - it's possible the Cuban one is related to one, but only if it happened *today* and not Wednesday.
Too bad Cubans don't have dashcams.
For those who haven't seen; what Neil D. Tyson has to say about there being more meteors:
time to put on some jefferson airplane and smoke some grass ... this is getting scary

If it means I get to hear a sexy voice saying "Welcome back, Commander" everyday, I'll be more than happy to have Tiberium land on Earth.
>>Talking about taking sarcasm seriously.
And I am the idiot?
Hey buddy, don't know if you didn't know this but it isn't exactly the easiest thing to tell if someone is being sarcastic OVER THE INTERNET.
This is fake, right? I live in Florida. If one of the same size that exploded over Russia did the same over Cuba I would have heard it
And I didn't hear shit
I love how all this is happening after the Pope quit.
First lightning striking the Vatican, now this.
Another?... Is this bad?
probably not. I'd wager they're related to 2012 DA14
probably not. I'd wager they're related to 2012 DA14
The Russian one definitely is not. It was going completely the wrong direction (east->west instead of south->north), and would have been 500,000 kilometers apart in their orbit even if they were on the same path.
There's a slim chance the Cuban one (if it exists, which I'm not convinced of) is related to DA14, but only if it happened around today at 19:00 UTC, or about 2PM EST.
It's kind of strange that meteors are hitting second world countries like this (even if it is just a coincidence)
