time to put on some jefferson airplane and smoke some grass ... this is getting scary
When the truth is found to be lies and all the joy within you dies...well, you know the rest.
Ugh Can we just delay the apocalypse for a bit? There are still some games I want to play
It's kind of strange that meteors are hitting second world countries like this (even if it is just a coincidence)
Hitting Russia doesn't surprise me. If you don't count oceans (we really wouldn't notice one hitting them), the odds of a meteorite hitting Russia (as opposed to anywhere else) is about 1 in 10. And of the ten known air-burst meteorites, four were Russian - Tunguska, Katavski, Sikhote-Alin, and now Chelyablinsk. Then there were three in Canada (one of which crossed the US border, exploding over Lake Huron), one in Brazil, one in Greenland, and one in Italy.
it is a sign
It's kind of strange that meteors are hitting second world countries like this (even if it is just a coincidence)
Well the Cuban one is most likely a hoax, but the other one hitting Russia isn't really strange at all, considering it's the largest country in the world (which means that if a meteorite is going to strike anywhere where there's a country (as opposed to hitting an ocean) it is most likely going to be Russia.
Isn't there supposed to be an asteroid passing by earth? Easily could be parts of it that have broken off.
Trajectories doesn't match. It's just bad timing :v:
God's so pissed he isn't even aiming, two Catholic places and one Orthodox
it's time we took the fight to him everyone start throwing rocks into the air
Our atmosphere is really letting me down right now.
That was the only thing stopping it from slamming into the ground at a few thousand miles per hour and disintegrated most of it, I'd say it did a pretty good job to be fair.
First Russia and now Cuba? THE END IS NIGH!!!!!!
This just in: NASA sends Twin Spaceships armed with a Nuke to Asteroid Picture of the crew:
yes send a bunch of Hollywood actors on a space mission to guarantee it will be the biggest fuck-up of our kind.
I'd watch it
if your country has any past or present ties to communism, space has is out for you
It's not space, it's God. He's punishing every country that isn't America.
yes send a bunch of Hollywood actors on a space mission to guarantee it will be the biggest fuck-up of our kind.
Yes because he was obviously being completely serious and actually suggested we should send Bruce Willis and his colleagues to destroy any incoming asteroids... Dude seriously?
God's so pissed he isn't even aiming, two Catholic places and one Orthodox
Naw, he can't hit shit, that's all. Not since he lost his glasses.
...
Just to add on to this, there is no mention of such an event in Cuban state news. Especially if it apparently didn't hurt anyone as these sources are claiming, there'd be no reason to deny its existence. So from that I would have to say someone has done a bit of creative reporting here, picked up by other sources trying to get hits by acting like they got the first scoop on this supposed strike. http://www.granma.cu/index.html The official Cuban news outlet is there, and the only thing they mention about meteors is the Russian strike. You don't have to know Spanish to recognize the headline.
horsemen of apocalypse have arrived.

ITS HAPPENING http://fox40.com/2013/02/15/meteor-flashes-across-northern-california-sky/
Yeah, meteors that size are actually fairly common. Burn up pretty much as soon as they hit the atmosphere, do no damage. They rarely make more than the local or maybe state news, though - people are just on edge after the Russian one, which *was* big. The main reason I'm doubting the Cuban one is that they're saying that one was similarly-sized to the Russian one - once-a-decade events don't happen twice in the same week.
Yeah, meteors that size are actually fairly common. Most meteors are tiny meteoroids (smaller than a grain of sand). I'd reccomend going out and looking at a meteor shower to anyone, it can be very cool.
