As an American, kindly fuck off.
With all the security fuckups, this, and people just flat out not using their tickets, something's very wrong.
What country do you live in? I don't think it's all as bad as you're making it out to be...

Canada
Why do the media and politics seem to attract the worst people?

It isn't as bad as you're making it out to be.
Oh fucking hell
In 2011, NBC agreed to a $4.38 billion contract with the International Olympic Committee to broadcast the 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020 Olympics, the most expensive television rights deal in Olympic history.
Sorry America

Indeed. I don't care if it means the Chinese or the British beat us, there's no reason to only focus on just Americans. Like in one of the swimming events, an American (Ryan Lochte?) came in first, a Brazilian second, a Japanese third, and Michael Phelps fourth. And what do they do, they interview Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps but not the silver or bronze medalists!
I'm disgusted. Absolutely fucking disgusted.
I'm a British citizen and I can safely say I am outraged and fucking disgusted.

If somebody becomes aware of a petition, or ANYTHING which means I can combine my opinion with that of the majority, post it here.
Again, as an American, it is gross to treat 7/7 as just another fly on the wall. It deserves respect.
Oh, wow, what a bunch of xenophobes
Holy fucking Jesus dick, we all know about the 7/7 cut and the tape delay but check out this other shit NBC pulled
The commentary - particularly that of Meredith Viera and Matt Lauer - was also criticized as "ignorant" and "banal". They admitted to not knowing who World Wide Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee was, and described Madagascar as "a country associated with a few animated movies". Australia was introduced as a former penal colony by Bob Costas.
I guess when you've got 204 countries to deal with, massively offending just 3 could be considered a good result
I want to fucking puke.

I know I have the BBC and everything but I don't want these fucks broadcasting the Olympics at all. They should be refunded or what the fuck ever.

Gold, Just look at this statement about them not streaming it
NBC spokesman Christopher McCloskey said, in a statement, "It was never our intent to live stream the Opening Ceremony or Closing Ceremony. They are complex entertainment spectacles that do not translate well online because they require context, which our award-winning production team will provide for the large prime-time audiences that gather together to watch them.
BBC's commentary was spot on, I mean I don't know how much briefing the media got beforehand but they knew their fucking shit
NBC's on the other hand sounds like they got in a group of 13 year old Let's Players

America's ego is starting to get really fucking annoying and I know my family hate it for one. You don't see Great Britain, Australia, Brazil, Korea, China etc. flopping their dicks about saying "look at me, I'M IMPORTANT, they take their medals, do some interviews and carry on with their day. The Americans on the other hand have to make everything a big deal. 7/7 was tragic, I don't think it'd hurt anyone to pull it off especially with the reason "not about mercua". NBC needs to really pick up their game, this is disgraceful.
Gold, Just look at this statement about them not streaming it
If you're going to fucking BUY YOUR WAY into broadcasting the next 5 or whatever Olympics, you make fucking room for the "complex entertainment spectacles".
They aren't even just that, the Olympics is one of the oldest still-going global tradition that unites most of the world today. It isn't up to their fucking discretion how much they show and how much they don't show. They show it all, or they fuck off.
"Award-winning production team" - You just won't fucking quit with the arrogant bullshit will you. As a language student, I can tell you that they're trying to wriggle out of it with dumb wordplay.

The Australian commentary is really good too, we love our sport and we have the best in the business to really do some A-Grade commentary. Mind you at times we get a little reckless but that's just the enjoyment of it all.
If NBC gets coverage rights again I'm not watching the Olympics anymore.

There must be a way for you guys to watch the BBC's broadcasts? Do the proxies work?
Way to stay respectable, America....
