You paid $60 for the entire base game. Not one fifth of it. The expansions are entirely optional, actually fairly worth while additions to the base game. At least they didn't totally kill the entire base game by not allowing people without the expansions to use the expansion weapons.
bullshit. most of it is stuff that could have easily went into the base game if EA didnt have such a hardon for releasing before MW3.
$50 is expensive though, especially considering a pre-order perk is part of that cost. I already own B2K for having faith enough in the game to pre-order, why am I forced to buy it again?
bullshit. most of it is stuff that could have easily went into the base game if EA didnt have such a hardon for releasing before MW3.
Not really, considering it was all developed after the game went gold. After the game had been in development for quite a while. EA may have wanted it out before MW3, but that doesn't mean the base game would have even a fraction of this content if it was allowed to sit longer.
Why do you feel entitled to content that was made after the game has released. Free content post-game is a privilege, not a right. Not every developer/publisher is like valve.
I dont. its how it was handled. it woukd have been okay if it was one big 45$ expansion mentioned 6 months later. but instead they say "okay that game you got 2 months ago? heres the rest of it for 60$ but we havent made all of it so pay us now"
I paid $20 for bf3 through intkeys before it came out. y'all are suckers. [SUB]russia owns[/SUB]
Quick someones trying to improve our game and rip us off from possible future DLC! BAN THEM!
Battlefield 3: Back to Technicolor DLC, 29.99 available now.
I dont. its how it was handled. it woukd have been okay if it was one big 45$ expansion mentioned 6 months later. but instead they say "okay that game you got 2 months ago? heres the rest of it for 60$ but we havent made all of it so pay us now"
One big expansion 6 months later is pretty much the same as small amounts of DLC inbetween a couple months. The DLCs aren't that big usually. Four maps, some new guns and vehicles, and some dog tags. EDIT: Like exactly the same. 45 dollars is 3 DLCs. 6 month release for all if it. 2 months and 15 dollars times 3. 3 DLCs released over 6 months for 45 dollars.
you're not - if you don't want it then don't buy it
Premium includes the pack.
Premium includes the pack.
+ four others that are imo worth the money you preordered it because you wanted the B2K pack, and that's exactly what you got. if you want more things then you're going to have to pay for them
It's funny how this guy expects DICE to give away expansion packs that likely costed millions in resources to produce, for free. Be happy they gave you an opportunity to get one of those expansions for free.
You paid $60 for the entire base game. Not one fifth of it. The expansions are entirely optional, actually fairly worth while additions to the base game. At least they didn't totally kill the entire base game by not allowing people without the expansions to use the expansion weapons.
Actually they do, you can't use CQ weapons if you don't have it. But yeah the expansions are worth it. I'm just saddened people can now buy BF3 Premium edition not even a year after BF3's release for 49$ while people like me who bought it day one have to add anothing 50 bucks. Just my 2 cents, that's why I'm still not so sure on weither I should buy the premium upgrade or not.

CQ wasn't very fun, I already own B2K, and $50 in general is a lot of cash for DLC, considering the AC3, Borderlands 2, and Max Payne 3 season passes are all $30.
I would like to think that the reason they ban players is because it gives them an unfair advantage. But I don't think that is the case here. You don't really get any kind of advantage with this mod. I think it is because DICE is upset over the fact that people are criticizing the way they colored the game and don't want to admit that the mod makes the game look like the way it should have been to start.

But I'm fairly sure you can pick them up off a dead guy as opposed to the alternative, getting kicked from matches containing CQ owners (CoD map packs in lobby matches kick people if it changes to one), or just not being able to play at all.
(CoD map packs in lobby matches kick people if it changes to one).
This has never happened to me and I've played all the CoD games online.
(CoD map packs in lobby matches kick people if it changes to one)
In MW3 at least you have to go to specific playlists to play DLC maps. You can't be kicked out of it because you can't even join the DLC playlist without the DLC.
This has never happened to me and I've played all the CoD games online.
I had it happen once or twice when on the PS3 MW2, but it was just after the release of a map pack, so it was probably a bug, and I never really experienced it after that, now it just skips the map entirely thankfully.
Which is ok but why do I have to pay for B2K again.
lol that's like looking at Half-life Anthology and saying "I already have half-life, so can I get the whole pack at a cheaper price?" if you're really against the whole pack thing you can buy them separately without B2K, but why would you? you'd end up paying more
How many artists can Battlefield 3 have when it's all based in reality with a brown shader?
bf3 had a massive devteam in itself dude nor doest it look "brown" all the time n we get it dude "x number of grey + brown colors omg so dramtic LOL so ironic..."
